Probably. Although, to his credit, as I scrolled through this thread, I noted that he stated multiple times that this was a "one hit wonder".

So, he wasn't misrepresenting LSU's success as a new standard.

He'd probably take all the shit we'd throw at him in stride and list a bunch of stats and "facts" that would put LSU in a glowing light. HAHAHA.

Did anyone else appreciate Lane Kiffin's welcome back to the SEC as much as I did?

He'll have that offense humming, possibly by the end of this year. However, it looks like his roster will leave him one dimensional.

Once Kiffin gets some recruits in at Ole Miss, all he will need to do is buy a defense. HAHAHA.

He won’t be getting a very nice welcome next year when he comes back to Knoxville. That guy is hated so much around here.

Which is silly. LOL. His dream job became available and he took it. No shame. No blame.

    Listen to me.....

If my dream job came up and it paid anything NEAR what I was currently making, my ass is gone. GONE. Might not even say bye. Just like Kiffin.

UT was a DUMPSTER fire in the front offices, still is to an extent. But, specifically when Kiffin was in Knoxville, straight garbage. He took that job because he HAD to....and they got a deal because he was tarnished goods.

Time for UT to get over the breakup, he didn't love you then, doesn't love you now and wont ever love you. HAHAHAHAHA.

The Volunteers better hope he doesn't start leaving them with a black eye every time y'all visit. Judging by Kiffin's offense, you all need to get Pruitt to start working on that defense.

Lol I’m not even going to try disagreeing with you on any of that! Last week they just extended Pruitts contract till 2025 and I think it’s a good thing. While I know we aren’t the best right now with him, I think he is the best we have had in some time and if we can keep him we should. If we just keep getting new coaches ever 2 to 4 years we really aren’t going to get the top players to come here and stay.

you see my other post this morning about our QB?

I expect that to change quickly now that Dylan Moses is back on the field.

Keep in mind, that defense is STILL very young.

    I tell you hwhat!

Ol Leach is getting out front of Lane Kiffin in the shit stirring competition!

I'm about to follow his Twitter just for the laughs.

The state of Mississippi is going to be hilarious with those two.

Leach is one of the funniest people to follow. Dude is hilarious and doesn't give 2 shits what anyone thinks. As long as his team puts out their best, he is behind them. Once they start acting dumb, his comments about how bad they are doing come out full force.

Yeah. The little he played last year I though he was quite a bit better than JG. He helped kick off our winning steak towards the end of season last year after they benched JG for missing a QB sneak and trying to jump over everyone missing a Touchdown.

I wouldn’t put any thought into evaluations for teams till after week 2, no spring practice and limited camp straight into conference play, paired with no film to study for half the teams. There’s a reason the SEC looked like the big12.

this is why I’m not in full freak out mode about our offense. Arkansas was our cupcake where you figure out what’s going to actually work. Our defense will be fine against anyone. The offense will be better, and I can only assume JT will be the starter when he’s cleared for contact. I’m sure Kirby has been in the medical office telling them they have to clear him.

    @dwalden2

Same. While Alabama's defense looked much more aggressive in behavior, of which I am happy to see, my concerns about the offense are still there.

I honestly thought Alabama's offense would be a bit different, but not, slower.

    Najee slimmed down

Devante Smith and Jaylen Waddle are both "fast". Like, really fast.

Didnt see much in the way of TE utilization, which makes me think that the TE's on the roster are better blockers than anything. (Maybe Saban is playing conservative early, like he has done every year that Tua wasnt the starting QB.)

The O-line is supposedly ridiculous, but I didnt see a bunch of massive holes, actually, Najee had a hard time finding green. Same with Brian Robinson and Trey Sanders. No massive runs were broken off, at all.

I'll mark this up to "its early in the season" or "Conservative Saban" for now. But if I dont see receivers creating space, or Najee creating space, I'm going to have to consider that Jeudy and Ruggs were simply ungodly fast and ran insanely accurate routes.

It looked like Mac Jones was throwing into some pretty small windows all night. While he was accurately putting the ball where it needed to be, the catches were contested much more-so than last year. Jaylen Waddle made Mac Jones look good a couple times with catches in double and triple coverage. He went up and got em, which you want from a receiver, but with dynamic playmakers and speed, you should be able to throw into a bit of space. I dunno.

I miss Tua. HAHAHAH And Jeudy and Ruggs. Feels like we didnt have them around very long, or accomplish what should have been accomplished with that echelon of player, and that many players of that echelon on one team.

Still excited for the season, don't take this the wrong way. Hopefully the offense opens up in the near future and I can enjoy some awesome offense along with a vaunted defense.

JT Daniels is said to be cleared for the weekend. I can only assume he’ll get the start. Would have liked to be able to see him against a lesser opponent to get some rust off. This weekend’s game might be 13-10 judging by both offenses last week. Not impressed with auburns offense. The defense will be legit as usual. Our defense will probably have to keep it close or maybe even score on a turnover again.

I'm hearing Mathis got the majority of the reps so far. Maybe Kirby makes Auburn prepare for all three.
