Sorry your ability to homer is going to take a big ding over two years now and you have to point to old teams to prove why the SEC is better this year. The “best defense” in the SEC looks like a middle of the lack B12 defense, but ya know, it’s SEC history and parity causing those boring ass drubbings.. not overrated teams. Never.

Tell me how Alabama almost beat LSU last year while both teams gave up 48 football fields, or how great Alabama’s defense is when OLE MISS has ran wild on them two years in a row and their sin was having a defense barely worse than Alabama’s. S E C! S E C!

I can’t wait for Tennessee to win a big game. SEC homers like you will explode trying to justify how it could possibly happen.

 

Its really simple. Let me break it down for you, since apparently you've never actually played sports...just sitting on the couch with Madden.

It's just that more often than not, the SEC is the conference in the column with a heading of "W".


Now, you can talk about how bad these defenses look, against some of the best offenses/offensive minds in the nation all you want.

The game is changing, and the SEC gets penalized now for playing "SEC Defense" so that the other conferences have a chance.

They've changed the rules for the offense to flourish in light of "player safety". They did the same in the NFL.

In this instance, correlation actually equals causation.

I played sports. I was active duty. I’ve helped friends train for body building and physique competitions. Hell, I have friends that have coached at UM and now run NFL grade training sessions for collegiate and professional athletes. I’d be willing to bet I have a better understanding of some random dude from backwoods Alabama that maybe didn’t even go to Alabama on a truck forum, but that’s just a hunch.

SEC defenses are trash this season (worse than last, somehow), and to say their offenses are some of the best in the NCAA is outright hysterical.

B12 refs are fucking trash. WVU isn’t good, but if I watch one more uncalled hold or FACEMASK in front of the head official I’m going to throw my TV in the river.

 

Love to see teams like IU beat pedo state... as well as Rutgers take down Sparty. Hopefully the gophers can take care of that joke of a coach in MI.

the PSU/IU ending, How does the ball hitting out of bounds before the pylon mean it’s a successful 2PT conversion? The game means nothing to me, just don’t get how that call wasn’t reversed

 

Should have never got to that point. Three missed FG’s, and a TD that psu didn’t need to score.

Not enough evidence to overturn. Thats why they said "the call on the field is upheld." If they said "the call on the field is confirmed" it means they saw it did happen. Same with the opposite.

Obviously you didn't... Just pointing out that they didn't confirm the call, just upheld. No way you could tell if the nose of the ball was over the line or not when the back hit the ground.

 

All officiating has been awful this year. SEC refs (particularly in auburn games) have been shit.

 

My pinky doesn't move arbitrarily, the ball hit his hand no doubt. Terrible no call. May or may not have changed the outcome. Auburn has been gifted two wins by refs.
