The Gators just saved the Dawgs the humiliation of losing to Bama twice in one year.

 

I fractured my left ankle from chronic prednisone use and having the bone density of an 80 year old woman and went about my day. Didn’t know my collarbone was roasted until I tried to take my jacket off. Probably 1-2mm from being compound. Could see the pointy side up.

So, how about them vaunted SEC12 defenses.

This is the only time I’m happy to see ND winning.

 

My boys look like hell this year. If LSU can go 50% this year I’ll be surprised. Then we play Bama next week. I’m sure this will be sad. I didn’t know what to think about the Dawgs. Everyone was over rated.

I can’t believe they picked up that DPI flag because he yelled at the ref. WVU couldn’t buy a call yesterday.

 

That was pretty bad. The whole game sucked. It was like watching two bad big 10 teams.

Saturday is the 50th anniversary of the worst disaster in sports history. On Nov 14 1970, Marshall Univeristy's football team was returning from a game at ECU on Southern Airlines Flight 932. The plane crashed short of the runway in Huntington, WV and killed all 75 passengers including the team, coaches, boosters and the flight crew. Marshall lost more football games in the 70s than any other team but went on to become winningest team in the 90s.

I have had season tickets for 20+ years and went to the games in college prior to that but this will be the most emotional anniversary game that I have attended. Unfortunately the fountain ceremony will be virtual except for a select few. We usually go by the cemetary before the anniversary game and suspect it will be crowded this year.

Many have probably seen the movie "We are Marshall" but the movie didn't mention that the 75 died 75 years to the day that Marshall played its first football game in 1895. The accident was a few hundred yards from route 75.
