Yea, I couldn’t quote my post from the 2021 thread. I ended up at -10.5 though in all honesty. I just wanted the +200

 

This is where I’m at as well. Congrats to Georgia. No one outside of the Alabama fan base had any desire to see another Bama NC. It gets stale and boring.

 

It's cool how Kirby Smart spent so much time with Saban through the years and was able to beat him head to head. Congratulations to Georgia football on the win

 

I’ve never seen Dawg fans so divided as we were this season. It’s like Stetson/JT are different political parties. Coming into the season I thought we had to have JT behind center to win it. As the season went on, I got to be 100% on the side of Stetson. He played well all season. He didn’t lose us the SEC championship game (60% comp for 300+ yards and 3 TD). So glad he was able to come back from that (horrible call) fumble and do exactly what everyone said he couldn’t do: WIN that team a football game.


That said, I hope he heads out as a legend and we get to see Brock next season. The defense won’t be the same (in fact it’ll be gutted) and any mistakes will be amplified on offense.

 

Congrats. Now it's time for some variety.

 

The meeting at midfield was great. They spent a lot longer together there than I remember Saban spending after a loss. And he was smiling. He seemed genuinely happy for Kirby.

 

This was the best part of the game last night, and also how I looked with these freaking night games.

 

Me too. What sense does it make to put the CFB national championship game on a Monday night? Asking for a friend. Now things change when we get to August 27 or something and tell me Kent St and Akron are playing on a Monday I'm there.

 

No idea. We should move it up one weekend and play it on a Saturday like every other college football game that matters lol.

 

I think it’s just the first Monday the NFL vacates, so they figure its a prime time spot all to themselves.

 

I know there are contracts and tons of money reasons. And the NFL thing as well. It just should be on a Saturday.

 

8pm is too late to start that game. Viewing numbers are down anyways, and that’s certainly not helping.

 

Move to CA and you can watch it at 5PM.

 

But then you're in California.

 

California is awesome. I’ve lived there twice. People who shit on California are nearly always people who haven’t lived there.

That said, EST is the relevant time zone.. not CST for Indy.

 

Bear Bryant’s great grandson is transferring out of Bama. Along with several others. Billingsley was surprising to see in that list. Wasn’t he the #2 TE?

 

Billingsley was in Saban's dog house most of the year for unknown reasons. He's a great receiving TE but his blocking is poor, should move to receiver.

The great grand was a 4 star recruit but with Bryce coming back and a top recruit coming in, he was never going to start.

I'm guessing there will be many in the portal looking for the highest bidder since they signed before NIL.
