I’ve often thought that Missouri has played with a chip on their shoulder in years past when they played Georgia. But damn they came out and hit us in the mouth repeatedly tonight. Good game Mizzou. Glad to say Dawgs found away to come out on top.

 

Play like that against UT and we’ll be down 35-0 in a hurry.

fumbles, o line couldn’t block, Stetson couldn’t make an accurate throw, WRs couldn’t catch.

If I was a bama fan, I could use the “if our starting WRs weren’t hurt” line, and throw in our best defensive player was hurt on a chop block that wasn’t called. But I’m not, so I won’t.

OU will be competing at the highest level of college football, which is exactly where we should be. I can’t wait for SEC programs to face our teams and our fans — I think both are the best in the country.

I've gotta admit, I don't really keep up with things all that closely; Didn't he come on to AU with this big campaign of "changing the culture" there, and everyone expected the first few years to be sucky rebuilding type years? Or did I just completely make that up? I seem to halfway remember I like this guy, and AU's gonna suck for a bit (more than usual lol), but I'd support him through it; but truth be told, I just don't watch all that much anymore lol.

I was a big fan of the hire in that it was not a typical 'Auburn' hire. The guy runs a pro-style offense and didn't recruit/use the portal to get an OL (2 total OL recruits). The AD who hired him and his only support wasn't getting his contract renewed and left in August. I'm willing to take lumps if there is anything that resembles competition on the field. In its last 8 Power 5 games Auburn has been outscored in the 2nd half 123-21. So not much coaching is going on. The guy probably knows he's canned and is clocking in and out every day. So that's why I say get it over sooner than later with all the jobs that have come open already. But Auburn is doing Auburn things and hasn't hired a new AD yet.
