Beck will definitely transfer. I was hoping SB4 would leave just for the story sake. The fan base was so divided on him to begin with, If he loses a game next year as QB1 everyone will turn on him. I was on team Stet all season over JT…just kinda wanted him to go out a legend.

I expect BVG to beat him out next year. I don’t think Gunner plays much as a freshman. Excited to see him, though. Assuming he doesn’t transfer. And then we’re trending for Arch as of right now, too. That QB room will be a lot to handle the next few years. I don’t envy Kirby at all for that.

Lane Kiffen was reportedly in Athens yesterday to see JT Daniels and Jermaine Burton. If a team could pick both of these guys up as a pair, that would be win for that team/coach.

I got to say, I cried. I literally had tears rolling down my face before Ringo ever crossed the goal line. I’m 52 yrs old and endured so much heartbreak and letdowns over the years and my emotions got the best of me as many others as I’ve heard and seen.

And Dwalden, Stetson story is incredible. Idk how any of my Dawg fans on here felt about him since I haven’t been on here but I did pull for him. Admittedly I wanted JT in there but I also trusted that Kirby knew what he was doing. At some point through the season I knew it was Stets team and no looking back. But during the NC game I also admit I was thinking we’ve got to switch to JT, that the moment was too big for Bennett. That was right after the fumble. Then he absolutely blew my mind driving us down the field like a boss. I was so happy for him. This made winning a NC even more incredible than I ever thought it would be considering the dramatic turnaround he had in the game. Funny thing to me though. I actually felt confident once we had the 8 point lead with our defense. Every other Dawg fan I’ve talked to said they were a nervous wreck the last 3+ minutes. I really wasn’t. Others stated how that clock seemed to move so slow but for me after the fumble and Bama TD the rest of the game was a blur. I just remember going from that “oh shit here we go again moment” to OMG! We just won the natty.

There is still a lot of diversity among fans on social media about Bennett and JT. I honestly never really got into it. I just couldn’t understand why Kirby wouldn’t play JT but as I said, at a certain point I knew we couldn’t switch back. I’m thinking that was after the UF game. I did. Believe Stetson could lead us enough due to our incredible D. That is until the SECCG. But I still knew that wasn’t us. Wasn’t sure if it was the team drinking the rat poison or the lingering effects of the flu bug that went thru the locker room, but I knew we’d play better if we had the chance. Which is ironic because I kept saying all year I didn’t want to play Bama twice. (Afraid if we beat them in the SECCG we’d lose the next time). Figured in UGA fashion that’s how that would play out.

Anyway didn’t mean to get into such a long post, just started typing and turned into this long post. But we’re National Fucking Champions!

Saturday down south brought up a lot of stats that really made me OK with sticking with Stet (I’ll post the screenshot below). I like JTs arm, but that’s about it. I was on team Stetson all year. 100% didn’t think the SECCG was his fault. He played well and had 2 bad throws all night. That was all on the defense. I just wish he would have left after this Season and gone out an absolute legend

The SECCG definitely wasn’t his fault. Some argue the lack of 3rd down conversions was the problem. I just mostly think they drank the rat poison and didn’t come to play. I saw so much lack of effort on D it was sickening. But it worked out for the best. I had said all year I was afraid if we beat them in that game and had to face them again in the Natty we’d lose. It’s so hard to beat a good team twice.

And just a reminder for everyone since I’ve had to hear about 30-40 years so many times, It’s been 0 years since UGA’s last National Championship!

I hope all you Georgia fans are buying aluminum natty license plates for the front of your trucks, won't have to worry about it rusting before the next natty.

I hope all the crying whining Bama fans bought stock in a tissue company. Maybe the added income will help ease the butthurt from all the sobbing of “if we were healthy and if, if, if”.

Why would Bama fans be crying, no crying here. I'm OK with just winning the Natty every other year. The crying has been occurring with Dawg fans the last 40 years.

Making excuses and crying/whining are often perceived as the same thing by many. You wasted zero time in making excuses for your loss. God forbid for most Bama fans to take a loss with a bit of humility 4F3BD18A-E7CF-48D0-AA86-B32DBE270E1B.jpg

I’ve seen a ton of crying on social media. Mostly fans whining about the injuries and how y’all would’ve won. Maybe, but I’ve heard it for years from all fan bases about how it’s part of the game and particularly from Bama fans saying next man up. With that said all of our TDs were scored by freshmen for what it’s worth.

How is this crying? I guess your reading comprehension is lacking. Go to post #2 in this thread, I was the first. If there are too many words in that post get back to me and I'll interpret.

Go back and look at your excuses you sprinkled in on top of your congratulations, since you want to look at reading comprehension.
You guys kicked our asses in the seccg and we came back returned the favor. Feel great about flying the 2021 sec championship flag with your past natty flags. But for the 2021 season the natty flag is flying in Athens and will be, despite all the excuses about injuries and the young team, etc…….

I will say that this was probably the worst Alabama team in a while. The fact Saban got them to the ‘ship is amazing. I watched almost every Bama game this season, and early on I thought they’d have 3 losses (but we also expected Florida to not be a complete shit show). They eeked out wins against teams that they should (and typically would, with as bad as these teams were) blow out: Florida, lsu, auburn. The O line was trash, which makes what Young was able to do all year more impressive. Yea, they lost some guys to injury. In most years, the next guy up would step in and wouldn’t miss a beat. You had some guys drop some balls in big moments instead. Meanwhile, 3 touchdowns scored for Georgia in the 4th quarter were made by freshmen who stepped up because the main targets were injured or left for the NFL.

I get it, our guys (mostly) got hurt early in the year, while Bama’s got hurt late. That’s part of the game. Shit happens. I’m just not sure the outcome is any different if Williams is playing. Saw a stat somewhere a few days ago that said young was pressured on 44 or 47% of his drop backs. I don’t care who’s playing WR, if the defense is getting that pressure, he ain’t gonna have time to find them.

Long story short, Bama fans can whine about injuries all they want. The confetti that fell after the game was red and black, not crimson and white.

I’ve heard several people say we are a one and done which is ridiculous. Especially from a Bama fan. It’s no secret about how Kirby recruits and he knows defense. Not saying we will win another because, we’ll we are Georgia but Kirby will have us in contention. If we ever get a gunslinger behind center look out.

I know we’re taking a step back this coming year however. Time for the depth and Kirby hitting the transfer portal to step up.

Edit: and recruiting should only get better with that ring on his finger.

I was just poking, Kirby is a great coach but even with a great team its hard to win it all especially when there's a bullseye on your back now. Alabama was a young team this year with many returning but I was hoping that more of the Juniors would return especially the ones with injuries. I guess they feel good enough that the NFL will elevate their recoveries favorably. More leaving in the portal also but we did pick up a couple portal guys that will contribute next year.

Everyone surely has to know they wasn’t their fault. That had to be a mistake by stadium crew or CFPO officials. Whoever was in charge of handing them out grabbed a wrong box and the players were just excited, grabbing and going without looking at them. Or maybe even Nike mixed a couple in a box by accident. Probably some Bama fan trying to be funny. I’m sure someone got a good ass chewing over that.
