Stetson Bennet have another 6 years left at GA or does he need to take a pay cut and go to the NFL? I read last week he was the same age as Josh Allen, lol.

Yes he’s 25 yes and also only 2-3 months older than Hooker from Tennessee. The kicker or punter from TCU is 30 and there are several others that played this year in college who were older.
With NIL I’m sure he’ll take a paycut as I’m sure he won’t be a starter out of the gate, if ever.

the game speed will be faster and the players talents all will be elevated. A few talking heads have said he’ll be a good back up which isn’t a bad gig for longevity and a paycheck. But also it depends, system, scheme, situation and culture of where he lands will probably determine his success as it does for many young men who decide to go pro.

Georgia will be in contention for a three peat. Their schedule next season is embarrassingly easy.

and a lot of talent coming back as well.
I will not dispute how the schedule looks. but to be honest Georgia had a home and Home series scheduled with oklahoma that was scheduled to start this coming season (im not sure if it was suppose to be in oklahoma or Georgia). this was scraped by the request of the SEC as the SEC feared it might cause future scheduling conflicts once Texas and Oklahoma joins the confrence .Why they couldn't move the game to a neutral site and leave the 2023 schedule alone and scrap the second game, I don't know. this also affected Tennessee as they too had a future game with the sooners lined up a few years down the road. Now we get Ball State as a replacement. I know Oklahoma has looked down for the last few seasons, but I would have rather taken the sooners as a game over ball state for entertainment and SOS value.

Would you rather your team narrowly lose the semifinal game or go to the final game and lose by 50?

I’ve enjoyed reading all the stuff that says tcu didn’t belong, but people so quickly forget other blowouts like Clemson over Bama in 2018. Nobody said Bama didn’t belong then.

    it’s football, any given day.

Seems they're after TCU's OC. I don't know why Clemson would even have any interest. The past several days all the SEC people have been saying how TCU sucks so bad and shouldn't have even been in the game. Even though they forget that Ohio State almost beat Georgia, and Michigan did beat Ohio State, and TCU did beat Michigan. But still why anybody would want any of TCU's sucky coaches is anybody's guess. Clemson says Riley's dad was an assistant at Clemson? So is there some good history? Well, Riley's brother is coach at USC... and they just got beat by Tulane :D:p:p:D. There's another data point for their history lesson.

Obviously TCU had a lousy game. But if Georgia would have started out like they did against Ohio State, or TCU would have started out like they did against Michigan, the outcome may well have been much different.

Exactly. As you pointed out, tcu beat Michigan, who beat Ohio state, who almost beat uga. So it could’ve been different. Just wasn’t that night. Uga came to play and tcu didn’t get off the bus.

still the 2 best teams by way of the season.

I’ve seen so many posts and comments on line from people who claim there team should’ve been in and TCU shouldn’t have been there(Alabama and Tennessee fans). Which I find highly frustrating.
After the semifinals the majority of fans were proclaiming how the committee FINALLY got it right and how that was the best two playoff games we have had. Then we had the final.
Was the final anticlimactic sure (I mean I enjoyed it being a Dawg but not as a fan of the game.) but did TCU belong there?
I say yes. They did everything they were supposed to do. TCU built their resume And sadly blow outs happen (hell they have happened a lot in the Super Bowl too)
too many fans want to look at odds to justify their arguments about how their team should have been in. Vegas makes odds on Paper. The committee makes the rankings based off of resume which is made on the field where the games are played.

Notice the majority of those crying that they got it wrong (often after saying they got it right) are the ones whose teams got left on the outside.

I still feel tenn should’ve been above Alabama…matching records, lost head to head, but that’s another topic, but they both clearly didn’t have the resume that tcu did. There’s a reason tcu lost their championship game and stayed put..they had a better resume. End of story.

the sec bowl record of 6-5 showed they weren’t the dominant conference across the board, and therefore those wins over the middle of the conference teams weren’t worth that much. The sorest losers are the sec teams that feel entitled.

This is 100% correct if I say so.
Entitlement isn’t flattering and never looks good. Just makes that person look ignorant.

People say "the odds woulda been much closer if Michigan woulda been in the final".
Well yeah.. maybe so. But then remind them that TCU beat Michigan just 10 days prior.

Nick Saban once again proves what a weenie he is. You can bet it took everything within his power to not put that "A" in the first column . . .

Any coach that has Ohio state one spot in front of Michigan or Alabama one spot in front of Tennessee shouldn’t be allowed to vote.

if you’re between two teams being side by side…head to head should be the ULTIMATE decider. Period.
