The Michigan saga keeps getting more interesting:

A man resembling Stallions was seen on the sidelines at the Central Michigan vs Michigan State game to start the season. Although the low quality photo appears to depict a generic white guy with facial hair. However, an odd thing was that he was wearing sunglasses to a night game. No one has offered an explanation as to how he would have been given access to the CMU player area of the sidelines but CMU has confirmed that none of the credentials handed out had Stallions' name on them. Of note also, CMU coach McElwain spent time at Michigan and would likely have known Stallions if it was him.

The two private investigators associated with this saga have now been tied to two brothers of Ohio State head coach Ryan Day. Law Enforcement is now involved as the information from Stallions' computer was likely obtained illegally.

And the glasses had a blue light on them, looking like the Ray Bans or similar glasses that have a camera in them. And the Purdue coach says there’s video evidence that they were at multiple Purdue games.

Michigan finally fired stallions tonight. Or at least they put out the Friday news dump that they fired him tonight.

And supposedly there was a B1G conference call and several coaches called on the commish to hand down some punishment sooner than later

Hadn't heard about Stallions being fired but good riddance if so. Haven't heard about Purdue either nor have I seen this blue light on the sunglasses, but again the photo I saw was pretty grainy.

I don't think the team was heavily reliant on him, personally. But the situation looks bad even if only half the rumors are true. I also heard about the conference call, although it's not expected that the B1G will actually do anything, this season anyway.

The alert I got said he was fired. ESPN just said he resigned.
Go watch the videos/pictures Josh Pate put up on X. Youll see the blue light. Dude had a clipboard he was carrying around with nothing on it so he looked official  also wearing Nikes when CMU’s an adidas school. As for the Purdue thing:

    IMG_8876.png

Whether they were reliant on him or not, it’s a bad look. As the head coach, Harbaugh has to be disciplined. It’s his program. He’s supposed to know what’s going on. “Institutional control” and all that.

Yeah I watched that same video and didn't see it. But, again, the photo he showed was pretty grainy so maybe I was just missing something.

I don't feel too bad for Purdue as far as "learning a new language" goes considering teams routinely switch up their signals. And if they're not doing that, perhaps that's one of the reasons they're 2-6 on the season. Michigan wasn't doing it for a while which is ultimately what got Don Brown fired. Especially after OSU admitted to knowing their signals.

So, in other words, it was one of those "you resign or you're fired" sort of things. As long as he's gone, that's all I care about at this particular point.

As for Harbaugh. Unfortunately, I agree. There isn't a whole lot of evidence to say he or his other staff (at least main staff) had any involvement. But whether or not he did is irrelevant. You're ultimately responsible for what happens on the team and under NCAA rules, you're assumed to know everything. I fully believe Stallions was brought in for the purposes of code breaking. How he did it, I believe, was not something they authorized. But I'm sure the new information is far from done coming out.

I love when Notre Dame loses.

now if Georgia and Alabama could join them it’d be a perfect day.

No, a perfect day would of required KSU to kick gimme extra points and FGs vs Texas and finish the game and an OU loss to OSU.

I would’ve taken that too. KSU really blew it.

Oklahoma (9) just got rob of the game by a PI no call on a TD pass with under 5:00 left. Oklahoma ST (22) and takes it 27-24. No dog in this fight, but hate to see a game decided like that

It wasn't decided like that. It was decided when OU got the ball back and was stuffed by OSU's defense.

Agree, changed my post. but that 7 points on the board would have put them ahead and possibly changed the outcome with very little time left.

The refs have been awful all day. The refs in the UGA/mizzou game were terrible on both sides.
