I would take no coach over what we currently have, but wvu is going to be real stupid here and keep Brown. I know it.

A coordinated system and base of donors to fund NIL will be the key to success above coaching and all else in the new paradigm. Whoever is coaching will need a huge budget to attract recruits.

Although Jimbo had one of the best paid teams currently at A&M but still managed to lay an egg. I might have been motivated to get paid $80mm to get fired and retire. No idea if that's what was in his head.

 

WVU allegedly has the third best NIL in the B12 behind Texas and Oklahoma, which is saying something considering how dogshit Brown has been.

I don’t think he’d coach forever, but he’s an immediate significant upgrade over Brown.

 

I think Texas has 2 of the top 5 highest paid players. Pretty sure they smoke everyone else in the conference in NIL pay. UT will be a National powerhouse going forward.
