I can't count the number of times I've done some relatively simple wrench spinning where a bolt got lost, or a part got broke....etc....and where will you find spare parts in the middle of the woods? Best to be close to someone's garage, or at least within walking distance of an auto parts store. And seeing as to how some of us get FAR less time to enjoy being in the woods, the LAST thing I want to do is to crawl around under a truck. Nothing at all wrong with a dedicated mod day, but don't interrupt the woods time with "work". JMHO, and worth every penny you paid for it.

You will find dried mud in every nook and cranny on the truck. 20 years from now, someone will pull a part off that truck and some LBL dried mud will fall out.

Park it IN the creek and do a rain dance. Rinse and repeat as often as needed.

I was on the bridge, standing in the creek at times.

Never really thought about that....The bridge is ALMOST like having a side post lift, only with a floor and Grand Canyon at one end of it....

What PSI are your pressure washers? Was wondering if electric pressure washers put out enough pressure, I'm trying to get one too.

I've got an 1800 psi electric and a 5200psi gas.

The gas power washer has to be throttled down or it will peel paint.

I think I've read somewhere that the electric ones don't have enough pressure, I figured I ask around before pulling the trigger on one.

1100-2000 PSI -Depending on brand , model, etc. Be good for light duty cleaning jobs.

Nozzle selection has a lot to do with how well they'll work. And some electric washers are better than others. I have one at work that isn't worth 2 shits....The one I have at home is pretty awesome. Can't remember where I got it....

electric ones are typically good for cars because the psi is usually lower.

Just remembered where I got the 1800psi electric....It's a Citation brand washer. They sell commercial grade power washers. Local store on Crittenend Drive in Louisville. I'd expect most major cities would have a vendor that carries this brand. Top shelf stuff. Expensive though.

Gas pressure washers 2500-4000 + PSI- Powerful & one more engine to maintain , just depends on what you want to use it for.

My electric is 1800psi, but the GPM also matters. The 'cleaning power' of a pressure washer is the psi * GPM. Most recommendations I saw when shopping said to aim for 1900-2800 cleaning power for cars. So my 1800psi has a GPM of 1.6 for a 'cleaning power' of 2880 at full go. I got the one I got specifically because its strong enough to clean concrete and siding with the right nozzle but low enough that I can use it to wash the truck.
