I had the tsb done a few weeks ago, no problems so far, I imagine it's a tighter tolerance roller bearing...:notsure:

Has anyone experienced a clanking sound and slight shudder after shifting out of 4wd?

I was second in line for Unchained's set but if you have a set available I received my new bearing and seal a week ago.

Moving very slowly. That's the first time it made sound and had a "thunk" to it.

I just received the set today from @KingTaco81 (thank you) and plan to do the work tomorrow. I can send the tools to @07Speedway4X4 once complete if you haven't received from someone else. Unless @Unchained 5150 wants it back in his hands. Let me know.

Wow! I just spent the last two hours trying to pry the axle out of the diff with an 18" prybar, then I remembered my father in law left his 3' prybar tucked away in the corner of the garage...two minutes later it popped out. It's amazing the amount of force I had to put on it. I thought something was gonna break. Time for a drink.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Hey guys, I lifted my 2013 DCSB trd or, installed ecgs bushing and seal and my front diff was leaking. So in the event it was something other than my seal being set in too far I wanted everything on hand I needed to fix this leak or potential other issue. (Bushing and seal from ecgs, type a and b seal from Toyota dealership)

Double checking the seal from ecgs, I checked with the dealership and there was surprisingly 2 different seals for a type a and type b differential. The only way to differentiate was a tab on the passenger side of the diff.

So ultimately I have a bushing and seal (type a) from ecgs unopened in the box they ship it in and the type b seal which I bought from the dealership (which is a specialty part and can't be returned)

I do not have the needle bearing removal tool.

I paid 85 for bushing and seal
    13.00 & 19.00 for a & b seal respectively

Selling bushing type a and b seal

Looking for 60+shipping, so if someone's interested in buying pm me
