    Thanks for sending the end cap. It worked great. Just a few light taps with the hammer and the seal seated perfectly.

    when you guys are replacing the needle bearing and seal, does anyone think its necessary to replace the cv shaft as well?

    Thats what I figured, just wasnt sure, how much that wear from the old needle bearing would hurt the cv if at all really.

    I was running mine for a while before I replaced it. you could see where it was rubbing but left no "damage" to the input shaft

    @07Speedway4X4 tools have been shipped and should be to you next week. Thanks @Unchained 5150 !!! Worked great! An air hammer with the driver made it super easy to install the bushing.

    The install wasn't bad. I replaced the wheel bearing/hub at the same time. Maybe 3-4 hrs including the bushing, wheel bearing and brakes.
