Have we talked cost at all? Hopefully this is something we can all afford, otherwise some will just live it for the time being.

Very excited for this! Hopefully some detailed instructions will be included with the tool which I imagine is required to keep the needle bearing pieces from falling into the diff...

same story, 06 dbl cab long bed, installed ome 3" lift with dakars at 220,000km. vibes instantly, gone in 4wd

question though, since 90% (if not more) of my driving is on the highway, which seems to be vibration free, is there still much damage being done??

also, what kind of turnaround time are we looking at for installing this bushing? i can only comfortably get away with 1 full day of work on my truck. my garage just isnt big enough to get the entire truck in there, to close it up for the night. also, basic hand tools enough to get the job done? with the special tool of course.

To your second paragraph, you're good as long as you never hit a bump or go around a turn.:D Turning or hitting bumps does change the axle angle which is just wearing that bearing more, even if you aren't feeling it.

To your last question, depends on whether you can change a CV Axle yourself. 35mm socket is probably the most "specialized" tool you'd need in order to remove the axle nut...aside from Chase's tool for the bearing. Otherwise, it's a 2-3 hour job with hand tools for a less experienced person (I think that's how long it took me...with another person helping) last August. You're definitely going to need a second person to help, and you may want to buy some PVC pipe to pound the axle seal in.

Nope no future flying truck here, I still turn lol

I can handle a cv. Installed the lift myself and did a wheel bearing at the same time, so I've already got the socket.

Come to think of it, these vibes have gotten noticably worse, and most likely flushing of the dif fluid will be done with the bushing. Lift has been on since mid October with 285 duratracs
