    This was during a frame replacement, so the tech just filled it back up. Look for the differential oil change diy on here, it'll tell you

    No I think front is like 2.6, t case is 1.4, rear is 3 or something

    I heard people put the ECGS bearing in the freezer for a few hours prior to the install. Is this necessary? I'm going to attempt doing the needle bearing swap tomorrow and want to know if I should put the replacement bearing in the freezer this evening or not.

    I put mine in the freezer a couple hours. Don't know if it helped, but not necessary. Using a proper install driver is the most important.

    Putting it into the freezer for a couple hours before driving it in will absolutely help. It's a pita to get the thing in straight, freezing it will help

    So, almost have the ECGS needle bearing replacement in. How far do I drive this thing in? Unfortunately I neglected to see how far in the OEM bearing was seated in the front diff. Here is a photo of where it is currently:
