Which dealer? Freeman? Truck looks familiar. Santa Rosa area? Try Hansel. I bought my truck from freeman and i ended up going to hansel because the service is much better. Freeman always wanted to hassle me because of being a lifted truck.
Also take tsb with you and show them.

2011 could be out of warranty, 6 years or 60k miles?

Well im now in the same boat. After ome lift an wheels an tires. My truck is a 2015 with 8k miles on it. An hasnt ever been off road to speak of yet. Very upset. I hope they work with me. Im a life long yota man. An i love my truck but i cant deal with vibrations drive me crazy. If they wont fix under warrenty because of ome setup i guess i will do it myself an then decide what to do from there....

I'll just throw out another endorsement. ECGS has been in for over a week now and everything has been smooth. Vibe was instantly gone.

Install was a bit of work though.

They should fix it, may have to go to more than one dealer if they end up being a pita.

I've been reading through this thread and can't find anyone mentioning them changing the design of the bearing on the 3rd gen trucks. Will they be using the new TSB bearing in 3rd gen? I've been thinking about a 2017 pro and would like to know this was fixed on a new truck!

I don't think anyone has confirmed the design, but its likely the new 2016 has the old style bearing and will vibe when lifted. I believe I saw one member post about this.

I installed a 3" lift on my 16' and it definitely had a harsh sounds from 25-45 mph. I live local to ECGS so I had them install the bushing . Going on almost a week and 400 miles and rides so smooth.

    Little help:

Working with local dealer and I want to order the seal and c clip before I start this.
From the pic I think I need to tell him 41332B and 41183B.
    Am I correct?

Makes me sick. Cause i know my dealer will prolly blame it on the ome kit with my luck. Even though the truck has less then 10k miles. I have searched all day hoping i could find another reason behind the vibes other then this diff bearing. No luck. Thought i might take diff drop out. An see if that helps. I can deal with a busted boot every now in then. I knew better. Should have never put the kit on it or tires. My last ride was a 2013 fj. It had vibes an shutters to when i first got it. Was hoping i wouldnt have to go through that with the new taco..

Take it easy man, your truck looks a lot better and will perform better now than stock I'm sure. It's worth it.

Also this vibe can happen even when stock, rare case though.

If your current dealer gives you shit about the lift, go to a better dealer. This happens when you lift your tacoma and most of the members on here got the new bushing no problem.

I'd probably leave the diff drop in, should be ok.

Did you have to pay for it or was that under warranty??

If you did pay out of pocket around how much did it cost if you don't mind...

It was done under warranty but he showed me what they billed Toyota and it was less than 300 bucks.

He has a 2015 so I'd say under warranty most likely. EDIT: derp he replied lol

At the dealer this would cost a lot. A shop could be anywhere from 150 to 300 from what I've seen in the thread. You could probably do it yourself and should learn this stuff anyway, try to get someone to lend a hand though.

What they charge toyota and what they charge the customer will probably be different.

Took mine in today and they are going to cover it under warranty (woohoo!). They did however try to blame the lift and said if it happens again Toyota may put up a stink. Hoping it lasts for at least 15-20k miles before I order a new one.

Im thinking the needle bearing can be pulled with a tool rented from the autoparts store? Bearing puller perhaps?
Anyone pull it out without using ecgs tool?
