Thanks. I didn't know there was a service bulletin. I went through them all two days ago, and all I found for vibration had installation steps involving the rear drive shaft: T-SB-0016-1 3 & T-SB-0008-14. Do you know the SB number?

Just swapped to the ECGS bushing. If you've got any play in your factory bearing do yourself a favor....perform the upgrade. Night-and-day difference in ride quality.

So I'm back to stock springs with new 5100 shocks and new tophats. I still gained about a 1/2" of lift in the front just replacing the shocks only and I don't know why.
I still do hear the noise very slight at slower speeds at times but no bad vibes. Would like to take to dealer since it is still unde warranty. But my concern is that they won't hear it since it is very slight.
Will this get worse or just go away? Should I just go to dealer with a copy of TSB and ask to have to have TSB performed?

If not, try using a slide hammer and use a hoseclamp to hold the slide hammer in one of the slots on the cv end near the diff.

If no slide hammer, get some relatively strong rope, tie a loop to go inbetween the diff side and cv end, have the rope extend out of the wheel well and tie another strong loop. similar to this: http://southeastoverland.com/index....ct_id=174&virtuemart_category_id=57&Itemid=33
Then use a hammer in some way to swing and pull on the cv outwards. Try a pull then rotate the cv a little, try a pull the rotate again, should pop out.

Or use a prybar, rotate the cv, pry, rotate, repeat

Also, anyone gonna need the tools soon(remover, installer, seal installer)? Once @802coma is done there, they will be able to be borrowed by another member, let me know.

Good CV removal tool idea, DIY inexpensive: "Here is a tip about removing the cv axle, without having to pry the c clipfrom inside the clam shell, or the use of a slide hammer
A piece of cable from home depot, with eyelets on both sides. make a noose around the inner cv axlecollar and put a small sledge on the outer eyelet and give it a pull/tap out, to release the c clip"

I see your race was broken on extraction much like mine. You find all the pieces I presume?

So a quick conversion of the 1.6 qts needed to fill the front diff, equated to ~1500mL. I put about 1400ml in and then it started coming out of the fill plug hole. This normal?

How steady was it coming out? If I remember correctly, mine was starting to drip out the fill hole when full

Not exactly "pouring" out. But enough to know that every time I pumped more in, more came out. I'm sure it's fine.

I'm getting ready to order the bushing in the next day or two also, so if anybody has the removal tool i'm looking for one too. May go ahead and get it if no one has one to get rid of in the next couple of days . I'm in the SW Ohio area if that helps my 06 has 139000 miles on it and it's getting loud enough to start annoying me
