The shop installed the bushing and ended up needing to replace the CV as well. The old needle bearing was destroyed in mine and left metal debris that needed to be flushed out a few times . So far no vibration at all after the fix! Will let everyone know how it goes as I put more miles on! Thanks again for all the helpful info off this thread.

I had the lift done about a month ago and the vibe started right after the lift. So about a month.

Have driven about 100 miles and all seems well, no vibes! Just ordered a set of ultra maverick 16 inch wheels to put on. I got lucky and picked up 5 good year authority 265/75/16 from a local guy on craigslist for $500 , he used them for about 1000 miles then took them off his taco because they were a little loud for him. Should have them installed tomorrow. If all goes well with that I will be listing the stock trd off road wheels and tires for sale later on.

I’m interested in some feedback on my situation since there seem to be a few things that can cause vibrations. Here’s what's going on with my 2015 4x4 DCSB TRD Sport.

Two weeks ago I put on 885's, Billies, 1/4” driver side lean spacer, Deaver AAL. After installation I was experiencing vibrations around 35-50 (sounded like a less exaggerated version of driving over rumble strips) that many are experiencing from this thread.

The vibrations were noticeable immediately after I only installed the front lift. Drove it around the block, noticed vibes, was hoping lifting the rear would make the issue go away. Didn’t have much luck after I installed the AAL. Up to this point I was running stock tires.

Next morning I got some KO2’s and had an alignment performed but the vibrations were still there. I tried 1/4” and 1/2” CB drop and that didn’t fix anything. Added a diff drop, same issues. I drove it around for a week and a half, got the alignment and tires balanced one more time (although alignment and wheels checked out fine) and couldn’t take it any longer. Started worrying that something was going to break or already was broken, such as one of my front diff bearings. So last night I removed the lift to see if the vibration was still there, because if it was, I was going to take the truck into Toyota and have them fix whatever they could while under warranty. However, the vibrations are no longer there now that I have the stock setup again.

I’m much less anxious now that I know the vibrations go away under stock setup. Has anybody else removed the lift and noticed vibes have gone away? Just wondering what else I could try to alleviate these vibes. Would anybody suggest installing the ECGS for my situation, considering the vibe went away when removing the lift?

I'd do the ECGS bushing sooner than later. Tex explains it best.

Going to order the bushing and also getting it looked into by the dealer, maybe I can get the new stuff and bushing installed at same time.

I definitely need the extraction tool, I have a set of race drivers for insertion. Are you looking to lend/sell/rent? I am next in line for a set but was hoping to do it this weekend if I can get a removal tool earlier. Let me know, I am definitely in need.

What side goes back into the diff for the new eggs bushing the machined thread or the side that you can see two different metals?

The side with 2 different metals. The solid side is so you can push on it with the bearing insertion tool.
