5100's all around, OME 887 with 1/4" spacer, icon 3 leaf aal. 255/75/17 BFG KM's on 4runner pro's. Rigid led pods. Debadged and tinted.
Are you running the c range tires? The specs show the diameter is bigger than the e range... Weird

Those wheels are 8.5” wide right?

I’m thinking of trying to fit some 255/80/17 STMaxx on my stock suspension ‘17 Offroad, paired to the 4Runner Pro wheels (17x7, +4mm offset). A lift will be added eventually, just not at this time.

I am completely stuck between 265/70/17 an 275/70/17 BFG KO2's. Going with the OME Nitrocharger/885 lift from Headstrong. Want 265/70 because they are C rated for better acceleration and MPG, but don't want them to look too small with that lift. Will I notice a difference in size and will the 265/70/17s look to small?

With 275s you will also need wheels with certain offset. Or spacers

Same boat as you, I’ve seen pics with 265 70 17 that look fine and then some where tires look small. I’m leaning towards 275’s but I’m still unsure.

    With a 2" lift I think 265/70 17's are too small looking.

I will be going with the T4R wheels, so i think there will not be any rubbing with either size. just don't want the tires to look too small...

This is 265/70/17 on a 2 inch lift.
    4 days after lift.jpg 3-4 side lift.jpg

On the fence between 275/70 and 255/80, limited tire selection is keeping me from pulling the trigger.

Here's another option, you can go 255/75/17 BFG KO2s and they come in C.

    https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=All-Terrain+T/A+KO2&partnum=575SR7KO2&vehicleSearch=false&fromCompare1=yes

Plug that size into the tire size calculator against the 265/70 and the 275/70, you might be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

Exactly what I want to do. Was considering the 1" wheel spacer over the 1.25", cuz I don't want the tires to sit outside fender flares. I want it perfectly flush. Do you have any side shots showing if it's flush or sticking out with this tire and size spacer? Thanks

Did you have to put wheel spacers on to run this tire? Thanks

I honestly don’t know how some people are getting away with this tire size without rubbing when stuffed while turning. It’s minimal and I need to just trim some plastic but I’m on a 2.25” lift up front and still rubs. At least it’s not the cab mount. I know some say it’s all in the alignment and offset but I’m lifted 2.25” and had the shop align it forward too. Just a FYI for those planning on this size. I’m running SCS wheels -10mm offset 17x8.5 4.3” backspace.
