I used this thread a lot to make my decisions so I felt like I should contribute.

Bilstein 5100s set at 1.75” and stock rear. Fuel Ripper wheels 17X9 and 275/70 17 KO2s. So far no rubbing at all (haven’t done much flexing yet) and honestly not a very significant power loss. Pretty happy with the setup, but I’m always going to be thinking about a lighter Falken Wildpeak in a 265 or a bigger KO2 in a 285. I will never be totally happy...

How’s the ride? Wanted to put some F5’s, same size on this tire size. Any issues mounting the tire with the Wildpeaks recommended width range at 7-8.5.

Just picked up a set of 275 Hankook dynapro at’s. Now I need to find some 17” wheels so I can put them on the truck and stop going in the garage just to look at the new tires. :bananadance:

Those Dynapros are a great tire. Totally underrated. Excellent choice.

Right now I have 245/75/16 which is the stock size on SR5’s. It will definitely be an improvement :)

Of course this thread has to be popping up now. My 2019 came with 265/70/17s Pro-Comp Xtreme MT-2, which are the only truck tire I have had so I have nothing to compare against. With that being said, I have no reason not to like them, other than my gas mileage is pretty poor. However, i'm about to add a 2" suspension lift and am wondering if it's worth going up in size and reselling my Pro-Comps (less than 7k miles) or I just ride these out and switch down the road when it's time to replace the tires.

Anyone else get caught in the same predicament?

Does anyone have experience with trying the 275/70R17's on a Tacoma OR with T4R Sema 17's without a lift?

I have that set up and I’m positive it wouldn’t fit without major rubbing. I rub my mud flap at full lock and coming up an coming up my driveway sometimes.

    Yo
Ouch, looks like I need to do a Eibach pro lift before.. Its not required to do a full CMC chop or is it just the wheel well plastic that rubbing?
