E rated. Not many options for C rated 275’s and I wanted ko2’s. I was worried about them being to “heavy” like everyone claims but they aren’t that bad.

I haven’t had them long enough to really give a good answer. Just from the 3/4 tank I have used since having them I would guess it’s gonna take a 1-2mph hit. That’s really the only down side I can tell so far. It’s not my DD so I’m not super concerned with it.

Sorry if this has already been answered,
I have a 2020 sr 4x4 double cab. I’m going to run the eibach pro kit at 2 inches with deaver add a leaf. I’m looking at Fuel wheels 17x8.5 -6mm offset and Falken wildpeaks 275/70/17. I’m just trying to figure out if I’m going to run into any rubbing issues? I’d like to avoid any trimming or cutting.

Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
I'm running just under 2.5 lift with -12 wheels. Only slight rubbing when running mud flaps in winter but not when they're off in summer. I dont do hard core off roading so cant give info on that area.

    I appreciate it.
I don’t do anything too extreme either. Is -12mm going to have the same backspacing I would be running?

They are really close. I stick out about 1/4 inch more which is actually better for you. The further out you go the more rubbing you will get on the outer parts of the tire.

I'll say that if you're not doing anything to extreme, it should be good. I'm lifted 2" with 0 offset FN FX Pros and had slight rubbing on my inner fender liners. I ran spacers (1.25") for a day and started rubbing in the pinch weld/fender well area and didn't feel like cutting, so took them off. I do take my truck off road and don't have any rubbing issues and only had to "massage" a few areas with the heat gun. I didn't want to trim/cut either ;)

I'll be buying this size in Nokian Hakkepeliitta LT3s with a set of steel wheels this year. I bought Hakka R2s in stock size but they're way too small for my liking and I really want more ground clearance for the snow. I love Nokian Tires though, these things are kickass in the snow and ice that we see in northern Canada.

Can you post a side shot to see how much the wheels poke out, or if its flush? Thanks!

Wellp. I joined the party! Lots of rubbing with the -10 offset, but rebuilding the suspension (Icon Stage 2 currently at 1.5") and cranking the coils up a bit tomorrow. Hopefully that helps it. I sure love this size though. I always felt the 265 was just a tad small. The Falkens aren't quite as aggressive as the KO2s, but I really like them and, so far, there doesn't seem to be any power loss (gained 40lbs) or balancing issues. Hope it stays that way. Anyway, I'm stoked to be part of the club. Hope the rubbing chills out tomorrow. I'll let ya know!

Anyone know the spec of the '20 Tacoma TRD Sport 17" wheels? I would love to put the 275 on the wheels and not have any rubbing without needing to do the cab mount trim or any kind of trimmings!

I’ve always liked the look of 275/70/17 on these trucks. Sometimes the larger sizes tires look goofy compared to this size. These look perfect, and functional.

Are you regeared or is in “no biggy”??

Thanks! I’d agree. I think they are the perfect tire size for a 2 inch-ish lift. I am not re-geared, but that is without a doubt the next big mod. Need to save up some money first. Then, of course, decide between 4.88 and 5.29. But that’s another thread. Haha.
