Yeah the ride height is noticeable in person, its not bad at all but when you get the larger tires put on then your gonna be a proud man :D

Haha good to know. I'm still waiting for a confirmation email from fatbobs saying they've shipped my kit. Haven't heard anything, sent them an email and no response. Hopefully they send it out soon.

it is right now because im really babying the truck. i keep it under 3k rpm. just because im gonna have it until its paid for. its not too bad though. i traded in a h3 hummer stick shift. and my toyota seems faster at the same amount of throttle. BTW my h3 hummer was a piece of shit. it was burning oil at 50k miles. lol GM no wonder why they are going out of business.

I found a set of 31"x10.50rx15 on jeep 5 lug rims for 250. BFG All terrains with 50% tread, do you guys think it's worth it? I currently have 235/75r/15 wrangler's with about 92% tread remaining, and I'm not sure if I should stick with my current tires with my lift or get the 31's.

Aye so I'll help you out with this whole thing pretty much because I was in your shoes just a month ago. Do you have a pic of the Jeep Rims. 31x10.5 is what I ride with now and they are great but you HAVE to have the lift on if you want those babies to look nice, also you need to do the black box mod. Also see if you can get a deal for your current tires. My old set (same size as you) where nearly new (maybe like 94% tread remaining) and I traded them in and got $100
but you should install the lift first before the tires, or do them both at the same time.

Ted Wiens bought mine off me for $25 a piece ($100) all together. Then my older sisters boyfriend hooked me up with a set of 31x10.5 Falkens with the Eagle Alloys mounted and balanced for $900...I mean idk if you will find a better deal than that and my lift was put on for free. but I'd say go for it, but if you wanna go offroading then I'd personally wait around a bit. 50% tread won't do much IMO.

Here's mine...2009 Reg cab. Fat bobs, 235/75/15 tires, back rack, Kobalt tool box, and a bunch of emergency equipment for the fire department. Next up: 16" rims and new tires, fog lights, tow hitch receiver, and a grille guard (to put more blinky lights on). Maybe some spot lights on either side of the back rack facing rear...

So my lift should be at my house when i get home from work. I have a question, what do they mean by rotaring the strut 180 degrees to put the front blocks on?

MAHHHHH GOOODNESSSSSSSSS THOSE FENDER FLARES ARE SEXY AS SH*T!!!!!
Where did you get them?!? and was it hard to install them on a 5-lug? One time Toyota told me the OEM Fenders from the 6-lug wouldn't work on a 5 lug..
