This is the exact height and stance I want. Did you just add bilstiens and larger tires to get this look? Please give details and cost if you did anything else.

Does it cost more to lift or lower a truck, factor in wheels, gearing etc. When I say lift or lower I am only speaking of a couple of inches up or down.

Just lift it to many unpacked miles to explore to ever consider lowering...IMO obviously but I think lowered trucks look rediculos and contradictory to intended use, utility.

yeah ive seen lowered trucks used for there intended purpose. it really comes down to what you like. Personally i like both lifted and lowered but cant afford to lose clearance from stock for the occasional ride to trail heads for mountain biking.

Depending on how you lift/lower they could be about the same price. Bigger tires and new aluminum wheels might end up being around the same price and as smaller tires and bigger rims.

as far as the lift it self a spacer is almost 3" of lift and about $200 if i remember correctly. If you want to lift with coilovers and UCA it would be 1500 to 2000. These arent exact numbers and i think are only front lift. i dont remember exactly.

If you think lowered trucks look ridiculous, then you are looking in the wrong places

Lowering a truck isn't TOO expensive. It's not really cheap either though ;)

Not too sure how much it costs to lift one. Ryan may be able to chime in on that since he has gone through both lol

If its inhibiting where you can go and giving you a shitty ride then its taking away from utility and versatility, hence why i think it looks redonk. I can appreciate quality fab work of all forms, but thats rarely seen on lowered rigs and around here. Most lowered trucks i've seen just do blocks, bj flip < both giving shitty rides and increasing bj stress, then they go onto the gross vanity chrome clip-on handle shaving nonesense. All this makes zero sense to me and is a complete waste of time.
If your going to lower something then make it fast and handle good, <that i can appreciate. And i've yet to see that from pretty much any of you.
Lets see it boys, post some quality work and make me look like an ass, we are in the pic thread... I'm not against lowering things, i had a porche 944 and a bmw, i lowered both and had a blast with them.

My truck rides just like OEM. I use my truck to carry my motorcycle all the time, that's all I need it to do. And I don't have any chrome on my truck

You really want pics? Thought you would have come across some by now.

Just some of the most common trucks on here. There are plenty more over on XR underground. If you think that either of those ^^^ look ridiculous, then I am done conversing with you. ;)
