100% agree and why mine came off to begin with. The bigger trucks it looks fine on, cause their bigger, it just never looked right to me on the 5 lugs. More aggressive look without the plastic...

How does it handle so far? Any problems with struts bottoming out?

No problems with the struts. Honestly, if you installed the lift without me knowing i probably wouldn't have been able to tell from a ride standpoint. It's definitely stiffer, but not as crazy as some people make it out to be. I'm doing almost exclusively street driving, so that might play into it.

I can vouch for the longer shocks. Dont need it, but it's nice for that exact reason. I also kind of feel like the stiffer suspension, even though the truck is taller, has cut down on the pitch and yaw of the truck when turning sharply. It might just be me, but i assumed it would make it worse (i was in a base model Ranger before getting this, so i really dont have any frame of reference).

Finally got this on! I think down the line I'll replace the KCs with a light bar but this will do for now :D Thoughts?

hey y'all I'm new to the forums, this is my '06 5 lug that I just got as my first car a few months ago. so far I've put series 51 pro comp wheels
on it and 235/75/15 BFG A/T tires on it. I've also put in fog lights, a cb radio, and marathon seat covers. sorry the pictures aren't that great, any comments or criticism would be appreciated. thanks!

The most recent mod! The accident mod. Some jackass hit a tow truck on the freeway and spun out in front of me we collided, it was a Camaro, at about 65mph and thus the 5-lug legend went to the history books. and the two people in the Camaro fled the scene by foot. Total of 5 vehicles in the accident. I escaped injury free.

If the repair shop can't fix then ya, i'll save for a 4x4 next. The little guy held up strong though!!

Thanks man, yeah I'm more happy that I was alright! The truck can be replaced/repaired

yeah no kidding! infact I had just taken a girl out and dropped her off and she admired my truck and then this happened. I'm sure they caught the other driver by this point seeing as the other car was a rental.

That is totalled my friend, if they don't total it I wouldn want it. It's one thing to total for body damage, it's another to total for suspension. Sucks man, glad you are alright.
