Exactly. I just got these and I do want some 31s on there. Must hold out. I tried to sell the original ones on CL and not one call, so they sit in the garage for now. they have less than 3k on them.

well better late then never. sorry I've been doing other projects and haven't thought to look here in a while. as for the top plate yes it doesn't fit have to use stock one. and for whats changed in ride quality . way better. NO MORE shaky steering wheel, squeky front end and no more floaty felling at high speed. (floaty the feeling that the truck has a million miles on it and the steering wheel has a shit ton of play from left to right. ) now its tight again. the camber is back to normal . i don't want to say this but totally worth the money for getting all that shit back.

I'm adding a aluminum draw system. And I know I will fill it with shit.(add more weight) So I'll probably be needing a 3rd aal. I have the long and short now. thought about buying another long and cutting to be a middle. Or that archive shackle thing to get my height. Back. Or maybe just buy those shock and axle leaf pieces and go axle over. But I'm afraid it will throw out the drive shaft and open that can of worms. Any body do that yet. Axle flip. If so can you post some pics at the leaf area. Here's the draw system got it from my grandfather for free it came out his tundra. So it fits great.

Quick question. So I have a long leaf on the way to add along with my short leaf. I am thinking the short leaf goes under the long leaf? is this correct? If so I am thinking it may be a PIA to squeeze the set together with the c clamps but i will manage.

Has anyone actually added 3? If that is possible are there any concerns to doing so? Its added weight but I guess with longer U bolts whats the difference between adding 2 or 3?

I myself had a hard time shoving them back together because my clamps were too small. But a hammer and a pry bar sure help. I put l them in order from shortest on the bottom to longest on top. Make sure you get a longer leaf bolt too included with the Ubolts.

Thanks again. looking forward to seeing the shackle flip pics. They say you can go with a longer shackle too once it is done.

It might be worth snagging a 6 lug leaf spring. From what I remember they do fit and are probably stiffer. But I'd do a little more research before going that route.

what I've seen when you add. it also drops the thickness if the steel leaf. 1/4" or so. cause its spring over. instead of spring under. like when i added my road master helper springs it dropped the truck the thickness of the steel . it was a 5/16" drop. every time you add a leaf it raises the axle and the truck. looks like the shackle flip is a way to go over a third leaf cause you only lift truck.

i thought about that but i have like 200 in extra springs and the six lug extra weight ones are like 500+ and the 200 would be lost. how did you home depot snorkel turn out.
