It is a good product for interior. The exterior is where it lacks. Doesn't last in the rain. What are you planning on using it for?

Tonneau cover. What should I buy if 303 isn't good for the exterior? All the reviews I read had good comments. My truck is parked in a carport. About half the back is exposed to the elements.

I'm looking for a good water resistant protectant myself. Currently checking out the AutoGeek offerings:

Check Autogeek for Ultima Tire and Trim Guard.

As Scooter mentioned the Duragloss product looks good as well.

I haven't had a cover in a while, so can't comment on longevity.

This same issue may be in this thread, have not read every page.

My windshield has left over deposits on it.
It's as if the previous owner smoked, and someone came in to detail it, sprayed the windows and the liquid ran and dried.
So I have what looks to be lime deposits all over the windshield.
I've used every kind of window cleaner, Griot's, and CLR. Nothing is getting this shit off.

    Any tips?
When facing the sun, you can see it pretty bad.

I have good luck with Invisible Glass, and I'm a smoker..may just take a couple of times to get the remnants of gunk.

These deposits look like I need to take fine grit sandpaper to it. It's that bad IMO...

I would look at some glass polish like 1Z Einszett. I used that for deposits on exterior. I would probably go clay bar first before try a polish.

Invisible Glass makes what they call a water spot remover. Its supposed to have mild abrasives in it.

I have some dried concrete on my driver side window and door. Maybe about pea sized. I'll probably just scrap off the window one, but what's the best way to remove the one on paint?

Nothing is working on these deposits.
I am gonna bust the windshield out and just buy a new one...

Post up some pics of what you are seeing. What steps have you tried so far?

A bit melodramatic. I had my doors repaired with PDR and the guy that does paintless dent repair warned me that he will scratch the glass, but he will fix it. It's a bit worrying to hear that, but he's know in the forums to be superb. So I had him take care of a few cars I had..and it was scratched after he was done...he just used paint polished and hand drill with a polisher and fixed in 4 minutes.

My tacoma windshield had scratches when I bought it...when my PDR guy fixed a dent for me, I asked him to polish the glass...fixed it right up...wasn't sure if it did... so it's an abrasive...basically you are removing material away to even it out. These deposits have etched the glass...so you have to risk it and do a polish on it with abrasive. Try that before you sledgehammer your windshield and hood :)

It's shows up well when facing the sun, hard to take a pic. Tried but the sun blows out when I am trying to show.
But I can spray some of the stuff I have been trying and you will see it well enough.
Will shoot it tomorrow and post.
