    They are fun.

    I like them even though they take a bit of time to set up because I can never get enough suds to feel like I'm not scratching my paint when just using a bucket.

    Yeah, I know what you mean. I washed the truck tonight and suds were less than optimal. It was an armor all product.

    You ever try Turtle Wax Ice car wash soap. Probably surprise you. We have hard water and it makes plenty of suds.

    What is everyone’s favorite polishing pads to use?

    I recently bought a bunch of chemical guys hex logic pads. They work ok but I wasn’t a fan of using it to apply my sealant. I would like to try something different next time.

    So my clear coat it pretty much shot what would you recommend me doing on it? I also have small rust spots in places is there anything I can do about those?

    If your truck is white, then you don’t have any clear coat on your truck. Post up some pictures of the vehicle in sun light. Hard to make recommendations without knowing what is going on.

    Yes. Instead of removing clear coat you will be removing the paint. I’ve polished my truck with a medium cutting pad and m205, took out some scratches with ease.

    Okay, I have a medium polish pad and v36 chemical guys medium polish. I would assume the paint is decently thick so think I would be safe? Probably only polish a couple times. Before I sell it

    Are you going to be using a DA polisher? It’s hard to say for sure as every truck is different. But with a medium/light polish I think you will be alright. I am not super familiar with CG’s polishes. If you use a DA I think you will be ok.
