If you are looking for a killer wax this is a hot deal. This wax will make dark colors POP.

i want to start cleaning my own crap soo these are the products I am thinking about getting:

    Step 1 WASH

    For Wash - (ONR)
For Wash Media - Orange Micro-Chenille Wash Mitt (comes free if I purchase before this weekend ends)
For Towels - Cobra Deluxe Ultra 600 25" x 36" Microfiber Towel (comes free if I purchase before this weekend ends)
For Wheel/Tire Clean - For Tire Shine - For Trim/Dash - For Glass - (i already have this)

    Step 2 CLAY
    STEP 3 POLISH
Do I need one? I don't know what to get

    STEP 4 PROTECT
For waxing - Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax
For sealant - STEP 5 MAINTAIN
For Quick Detailer - For Spray Wax/Sealant - Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax (same that is used to protect in step 4)

Please let me know if this is overkill......I'll be using most of the products to keep my motorcycle clean as well... Will stock up on microfiber towels as well!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! I figure all the money I spend on these products will out last and payoff. Before, I was going to one of those hand wash places and pay ~$20 to have people wash em... =\

Also, I do not have power tools.. I'm doing all this manual with my left and right hand and maybe the help of my little nephew! ;)

    ^^^^^^^

    STEP 4 PROTECT
For waxing - Pinnacle Souveran Liquid Spray Wax
    For sealant -

Use the sealant first then the Souveran.

Do yoursef a favor and pick up the Souveran that is on the VIP sale. It will make your GM color really pop.

Use the code VETERANS15 for 15% off most items you have listed. I would also use the code AGO, free shipping, to see which results in the lower price.

    which Souveran you talkin about???

aside from that.. all the other products ive listed should be good to go???

I can only use 1 coupon code or the other... and the difference between the veterans15 code and the ago code is a few....veterans15 code gives me a tad bit more discount.

    total still ends up $190.xx

    Thanks

The Souveran in this link. The deal is a great one. I use this as my summer wax. Since you are in Southern California you have no need for a wax that will last through the winter.

Another way to save a little money would be to just buy the clay bar by itself instead of in a kit. You get a bar that you can break into 2 or 3 pieces and use multiple times.

Something like this would do the same as the kit but you get a better clay in my opinion and more of it. You can use the optimum no rinse at clay lubricant dilution so you dont need a specific product for that. As for the wax or sealant, you could pick either one. A sealant will last longer and a wax will give you better looks but will require application more often. You do not have to layer a wax over a sealant but many do it for looks. Opti-seal is also a very easy product to use and very durable.

Edit: Instead of the 17oz of the Power Clean, you can get a gallon of meguiars all purpose cleaner for a few dollars more. You can dilute this stuff and use it all kinds of different things. Interior, wheels and tires, etc. 16 oz of any cleaner goes pretty quick even when diluted so I always buy the gallon.

Yea... im going for ease (hence why alot of the stuff are spray) and a bit cost efficient.

btw, everytime i wash the truck/bike. will i need to go through step 1 - 4?

step 5 is used in between washes .. correct?

The only thing you need to do when you wash is step 1. You only need to clay around every 6 months depending on how much industrial fallout, etc. is in you area. Every 3 to 4 washes or every 3 months or so you could choose whatever product from your protect step and reapply. You only need to polish once. After that you can just maintain your polished finish.

Sometimes I hate the internet. You need wax all the time. I am assuming that the Southern California winters are mild and you can wax whenever you want. Here in Maryland we are almost at the time where you cannot effectivley wax due to the low temps. For winter I use Fuzion because it is a decent wax that will protect 6 months. The Souveran wax will last you 6 weeks. Souveran brings out the warmth in a dark color very well.

I use Zaino under both waxes. The sealant you chose is a top shelf sealant as well.

I started working on those mineral spots on my paint today. I was only able to get the roof, tailgate, bedsides and rear bumper done.
