I have used Aerospace 303 Fabric/Vinyl cleaner with great results. I diluted it with 4 parts water, scrub with a soft brush and wiped with a cloth.

i have really bad hard water/ acid rain spots on all windows of my double cab even the mirrors. i tried vinegar with no luck and moved on to more abrasive polishes like brasso. worked okay but took 2 hours to get one window decent. i was wondering if theres any strong cleaner/acid that will get my windows like new again. any suggestions?

Hello everyone! Anyone know the best way to remove bug splatter? Just plain washing does'nt cut it, even with a little extra elbow grease. I just ordered a clay bar kit and I want to get my truck ready for it. Is there a product out there that is recommended or is the clay bar itself the way to go? Any advice is much appreciated....Thanks.

I use a bug and tar remover...spray and let it sit to siften it up, then a soft cloth to wipe it away.

Why do you need the rubbing compound? That is a serious abrasive.

For OTC products I still think Mothers products are hard to beat.

The truck is bout 8 years old now...only have used the one step cleaner/wax since I've had it. There's a lot of scratches from wheeling threw trees and show good on the dark blue  looks good from a far; not real oxidized but I always used the Maguires 3 step on my last white tacoma with great results. This is about the same isn't it?

Used Maguires, Mothers, and turtle, cleaner/wax over the last 5 years and nothing got comments like the Turtle Wax, every time. This last time I used Turtle hard shell wax and that shit is lasting like a mug, thought I'd try their rubbing and polish, then the hard shell....:notsure:

Megs 3 step will work as well. For OTC products both Mothers and Megs are in the same class. Both work well. Just a matter of using the product you feel comfortable with.
