Official "Call of Duty" thread

Calling all COD gamers, any platform. I'm on PSN and a fan of the game. Currently playing "Ghost" right now, multiplayer mainly. Let me know if you wanna kick some ass with me .

Since this is the OFFICIAL Call of Duty Thread, I figured I would resurrect the thread and ask a question here.

I used to play the game from time to time, I really just like to play in Free for All mode and then that Battle Royale thing came along (which I never really got interested in).

What I'm getting at is, what exactly do I need to play the game? I have an XBox One S (which would likely need an update), but do I need to subscribe to some Microsoft Package in order to play the game in Free for All mode?
