    Excellent!

Off-topic... Is that the trailer you custom made or another member? I was looking at trailer builds and remember seeing that one.

Used ours this past weekend, too! Temps were in the low 30's and we were plenty warm overnight. We slept with an air mattress over the foam pad, but will go without the air mattress next time. It was good to have while waiting on the anti-condensation mat. Did some light wheeling and noticed that the tent was up there, but nothing major. Thanks again @kitsym! We took a quick trip up to Big Bear Lake, CA. No campfires due to the drought, so cooking dinner and breakfast was a bit on the chilly side!

Almost forgot to post pictures of the Racor storage system I'm using for the tent when not on the 4Runner. The bars that come with it are pretty wimpy and too short anyway, so I cut a 10' piece of Unistrut in half. Works great and let's me load and unload by myself.

I am curious about your bumper, is it a special edition?

Sorry for the old thread bump ... called CVT the other day and they said that most likely there would be another GB coming up in March.
Would like to get in on the next one.

    Turkey,

What is the dimension of the bottom of the strut to the top of the ceiling?

I am contemplating this same setup in a carport, and would like to confirm that I can fit the 4runner, rack and all, underneath it without hitting it.

20.5" to the bottom of the unistrut support bar, but 22.5" to the bottom of the bolt.

One thing I learned is that the half unistrut I used does not have enough weight to keep tension in the cables when the tent is off. I would recommend buying the 1" square unistrut. It will make life easier.

So the unistrut you are using is 1/2" deep?

Does it feel sturdy enough to hold your tent?
