How about 10 AM EST. You're dealin' with someone here who gets up @ 4AM and goes to bed by 8PM.

I grew up on a farm. And my dad was one of those folks who would get up early enough to go wake up the rooster. His theory was, very early in the day is the best time to get things done. When I left home and went in the Army, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven because they let me sleep so late! When I got out and started college, I was always the first one to show up for early classes.

But....I HATED getting up early. I could sleep 'til 5PM if there wasn't a reason to get up.

All my years working at Honda, we seldom started the day before noon. Lots of long hours, but rarely early. I LOVED that job! Travel all over the world, and all I had to do was keep the suspension maintained on 2 bikes. During the late '80's my "team" was doing all the R&D on the Showa "upside down" forks that first appeared in competition on our works bikes in 1986, then went on production bikes on the 1989 CR 250 and CR 500's. After that, I just got tired of living out of a suitcase and seldom being able to spend time with my family

So...I moved back to where I grew up, decided to put my engineering degree to better use, and got me a DAY JOB! Back to getting up at 4AM.

After 25+ years of that, now I can't sleep past 5:30 or 6, no matter how bad I'd like to.

My dad is smiling down on me now.

Lol, I could sleep all day and am not a nice person when I wake up. Just ask Amy. However I worked all night and will stay up until 8ish tonight and sleep like a baby. I'll be the first one out of bed at my house (rare occasion) tomorrow am with a good night's sleep and excited to meet up with everyone and get to wheeling!

Packing a few rear diff breathers if anyone hasn't relocated yet and plans on hitting the mud holes. Installs in minutes.

Welcome to Blue Holler Off Road Park!

    1. Beertimecontinuum photo bomb. We're parked IN a cave. Sand cave.... Most of my pictures didn't turn out as well as I hoped. Too dark for my camera.

    2. We were treated to quite a show by the guy in the early Bronco.

    3. Blue Holler's "bounty hill". It would take a very skilled rock climber to go up this one on FOOT. No vehicle has climbed it yet.

    4. Many sheer rock walls!

Brent, Everett, Amy, Tripp, Sandy and me had a hell of a good time. Got in what will probably be the last ride of 2015. December 12th, and it was 71 degrees.

It was a good time. Blue Holler is too small of a park for you to ride down really.

A good bit of it is OK for trucks, but a lot of it is best suited to side-by-sides. There were a few Jeeps, and one Bronco, but we were the only pick-ups in the place. (other than tow vehicles left in the parking area) We got a lot of funny looks and a few comments......The "what are you guys doing here"? kinda remarks. The guy taking money at the gate even asked me if I was sure we wanted to go on the trails.... I got a few new scratches....But I've seen worse. We covered just about every bit of the place in about 4-1/2 hours on the trails.

Don't get me wrong its a perfect place for an afternoon like what we did today but if you're there for more than a day you're repeating trails.

Working on the few pictures I took. The video of the Bronco nearly rolling is pretty entertaining.

I went back in 2013 for one of the bounty events. From what I remember it reminds me of Blue Holler. Seemed like a bunch of playgrounds. It's @Bluegrass Taco old stomping ground before it became what it is now.
