By middle of next week I'll have my front light bar. Factor 55 winch thimble should be here by Friday. The new grill will be here on the 16th. Gotta get motivated to get front coils in and done. Then I'll be ready to show it off!

    I'll wash mine!

The first time we went there, we sat at the counter. There was a seat open next to me. Someone came in and set down next to me. First time I looked over, it was Bob Baffert, the Ky Derby winning trainer. We sat there and talked about "guy stuff" (fishing mostly) Figured out that even famous celebrities are ordinary people most of the time.

Next time I go, gotta remember to step in horse shit before hand so I can be like the rest of the lunch crowd!

To the camera guys @mwc273 and @Brussell56 im wanting to buy a camera to shoot wedding videos with. Not so much just pictures but while I'm at it pictures for some meet trips would be cool too. Best Buy has some deals on some for Black Friday. From what I've read, mirrorless cameras are supposedly better/easier for videography. Im not sure about the lenses and how they exactly work because ive never dealt with them. I was looking at the Sony 6300 here or possibly Nikon 80D. Keep in mind itll be used 90% for video. Any input on brands, info, etc. other than the Sony 6300 being 4K

The video review I was watching was showing how quickly the Sony's autofocus was during video. The Canon's focused better but the Sony was quick to focus.

Canon 100% for video and its not even close. Nikon doesn't have dual pixel AF which is the standard for good AF for video. Mirrorless is the future but their battery life is not quite there yet but they're very competitive. Lenses are key and 50-70% of your investment should be used for glass.

    Edit:

You also have to budget for a good tripod and video head. Likely will want a slider and video lights too. Shit isn't cheap and I'm sure you know this.

Not really looking into lighting, sliders, but a tripod yeah. Its a small business, just hand held so I'm wanting a little better camera to up my quality a hair and maybe my pricing just a smidge.

If you go with canon I recommend this cheap lens. Very good quality with a wide aperture for the price.

Just got invited to check out Redbird SRA near Linton Indiana on friday/saturday. Group of 6 to 8 Nissan XTerra's plus a few others. A "send it" bunch! May go up early Saturday.

2-1/2 hrs north of Louisville. Supposed to be badass park.

    Anyone interested let me know.

What did you do with the coyote? Eat it, Skin it, or just for sport? Just curious. Id like to shoot one but don't know what the heck I'd do with it!

So just before the Harlan trip a couple weeks ago I ordered a set of OME BP-51’s and had them installed this past week! They look great and feel pretty good and I’d say much better than the stock TRD offroad bilsteins. During the install the shop adjusted my preset on the front coil overs to 20mm for some reason. According to ARB that’s if you have a winch and bumper on and I don’t. It shoulda been adjusted to 10mm for stock. So I’m feeling it out and I’ve had to adjust the rebound and compression on it because there was a ton of bouncing going on at first. Now she rides smooth. I’m debating on taking it back to the shop to get that preset adjusted to 10mm but haven’t decided yet. I’m hoping when I get sliders soon it may help a bit with how it sits. Sits a lil high in the front and not level. Any susgestions on this? Also I had SPC UCA’s installed. Here’s some photos too. Fist one is before the install and then the rest is after. I threw in a couple of my seat covers too because I f’n love those things!
