    This^^^^

Slower acceleration, not trying to set land speed records, and not standing on the throttle until you have to jump on the brakes. Smooth power delivery and drive like you're on a public road...Not the last lap at the Indy 500...

i do 70-75 usually, a little higher rpm though. gas mileage really isnt a concern just interesting to compare.

Holy crap! That’s terible mileage for sure, just curious, do you have a lot of extra weight on your truck? That’s what I’m trying not to do and not going with a large bumper but a hidden winch mount instead.

Before my OME lift I was getting 21mpg and now getting 19mpg for some reason. I have a turd gen and the mileage is way better than 12 mpg which I was getting with my Chevy

Man mine got such horrid gas mileage forever
Then I did long travel and mpg went up
Then I chopped my exhaust and it went down
Then I did a cat back exhaust and it went back up
Then I did SUA and it went up again and I stopped having axel wrap with start and stop
Then I went to 33's (falken) it went up again

ReGearing would probably help you on 35's lol you can ask @erok81 about his gearing

im not sure it would. even at a 2mpg gain itd take 2000 gallons to repay the cost. (pulled that number out of my ass). i just dont see the benefit other than maybe a bit easier driveabilty up front. ill do it eventually just not yet.

For me the gain of gearing is in getting the power band back where you want it
mpg is just a plus :)

Yep! I don’t care about gas mileage. Mine currently gets 11ish with gears AND a tune. I have the usual build; full steel skids, rtt with rack, sliders, front bumper/winch, 37’s with heavy wheels.

The better drivablilty was worth the cost. Huge improvement doing the gears.

I know fuel mileage isn't really important but Jesus 11 mpg lol. I get 16 on 37s, mark (nwitaco) got 17 or 18 on 40s when he was on 4.56 gearing. Are you running 488 gears?

I’m getting a catback and a cold air intake, I’m hoping those will put me back at my 20-21 range. What’s SUA?

Yeah the steal bumper skids killed it. Hidden winch mount for me or a US Offroad winch bumper which is light weight compared to your full bumpers. I had all that stuff bumpers, skids, etc on my Chevy I got rid of. Figured I’d do it this time a bit lighter
