Why would you rebuild them every year?
At most you shouldn't need to rebuild them any faster than every 2 years

At least that's been my experience and education on the topic so far

Hi Chad, I'm Josh. I was the first person to do a rear bumper delete at LBL and got drunk and led 7 trucks down an unmarked ATV trail at black mountain that almost killed Everett and Nick twice

    Nice to meet you!

I'm more of a ring steel at 1000-1500 yards kind of guy. Something so satisfying about those shots

RPRs are great guns. The above is 308 cause I wanted easier to find/load ammo. The bottom is a Savage 12 .338 Lapua that I built just for checking the mile shot off the list.

It's funny, .308 is tough to stretch to 1k since it goes trans-sonic around 800 yards and starts tumbling, but with the 338, you can almost hear the rifle yawn each time you take shots at 1k. That round is truly something nuts

My theoretical plan was to go up to shennendoa national park but I won't be able to make any decisions til closer since weather there tends to shut down the enterance/exit

I have off Dec 11-14th. I WILL be going out. I think I'd like to go back to black mountain, but I'm not completely sure (and I'm open to suggestions) . You, and whoever else wants to take off, are welcome to join. I'm not expecting much company with it being the middle of the week though
