Yup. Today, for the first time! We had 12" of snow on top of the 1/2" of ice, and it was the ice, and the fact that the road is mostly shaded so there is VERY little sunlight meltoff that has made it hard to even walk the road, much less drive it.

Similar to sand, sorta kinda. I'm assuming you've drove in sand being from Guam.

The ice is greasy, the snow, not quite as much.

Fly out for the LBL meet, could ride with any one of us? Could be snow, last year we had a snowpocalypse that shut down the park. Explored some of the fire roads wich was just as much fun in my opinion.

That sounds awesome! Thanks though, but I don't think I'll make it out that soon.

Love how this forum returns the hospitality. There was a guy from Tennessee that is also a TW member that came to Guam on Military duty that I took around. Didn't get to do much but I tried to show him a good time.

The order is in! Headstrong Offroad is sending me 5100's, 885's, struts assembled, Devers AAL (for now) 1/4" top plate, and some OME decals! Once I have all these dang doctor bills paid off I'll do new Dakars. My order with TRDparts4U should get here thursday or friday. Also found a brandy new "Kobalt" (Lowes) tool box (aluminum) never installed.....$50. Will swing by and pick that up on the way home from work tomorrow! Looks like the garage will be hoppin' by next weekend! Still hoping to have my sliders here, painted, and installed by the LBL weekend! A little bit at a time!

Also have an "interested party" that may want to buy my tires. If that works out, will be buying a set of Mastercraft MXT (Cooper) 285/75/r16's.....Now where's my sawzall.....?

i just moved up to the size you mentioned, glad i did it. the 265's i was running looked a little small for the amount of lift i had.
