    Close to 1.5" of fresh snow this morning.

    Hearsay tells me that it started falling about 5:30 here. I was outside at 7 clearing off my truck and a young woman's Corolla. Pretty good rate of snowfall.

    Thank you all. It's a shitty feeling. House feels empty, wife's little dog is looking out all the doors for her and I'm a mess. She always slept beside me on the floor and would be there with her nose in my hand if I woke up in the middle of the night. It's gonna be miserable around here for a while.

    Give them some extra ear scratches and belly rubs. It happens way to fast. I've had a harder time dealing with this than I have alot of the deaths in my family. It's horrible to say but it's the truth, I guess it's where she was always here with me. Part of me wants to head to the shelter and buy another one today! But then I'd feel like I was cheating on her...
