About 10 minutes from my house. But...It's pretty much flooded at the moment. The road going into the property floods easily.

Try downtown Louisville. Plenty of moving targets and no one would notice the extra gun fire...

    True story.

@MedlinAround have you been out to the WMA? I don't know what your schedule is like but if you are off through the week and go mid morning it's usually empty on one can maybe bend the rules a little... I'm or Thursday and Friday's. Let me know and we can head out there. If not we can go out to my family farm down in Jackson County.

Well, got this camper ready for paint I reckon. Gonna wipe it down with wax and grease remover one more time and then tack cloth it. Gonna try to take off Tuesday and do it. Using a single stage paint and this is my first time "actually" painting something. Guns should be here Monday. I went back and forth on priming and a friend who manages a huge higher end body shop told me to skip it since it's fiberglass and in great shape. So I took his advice and scuffed it with 320 and then went over it with 600. Here goes nothing. All in I will have about $150 in everything needed to paint it. Guns, paint, cleaner, sandpaper ECT. The lowest quote I got to paint it was $425. That was with me taking all the windows out. 20180218_101839.jpg

There is the WMA out in Waco, and there is a sportsman’s club in Irvine, but it’s 75 a year. They have a 125 yard shooting range and several trap houses up top.

I work during the weeks to 5:30, off holidays and weekends, but i'd be down to sometime. Ive only gotten to shoot my AR a few times to site in the cheap dot. Wanting to pick me up scope and shoot a little more. Today's weather made me want to even more but i caught myself wiring new rear door speakers in the taco. That was a mess .

Anyone been to sugar creek gun range?

That is a very true statement. Not yet, waiting on a good deal. Wanting new shocks and some expo springs then i'll be happy. I'm cross training in MRI so once I pass my board exam and get certified, pay rate goes up about $6-8 an hour. Then I may drop a little $ on some!

Got this friggin camper painted. Base went down great. Nice and even and the metallic was very uniform. I was on cloud 9. Then the clear coat... What a shit show. Liked to never got my gun set right and still am not 100% sure I had it set correctly. Got it on. It has 3 different runs and some orange peel. Going to let it set for 24 hours and then try to repair the runs and wet sand it. Hopefully that helps. 20180220_114632.jpg
