Front end will settle some more I'd say. I'd wait until after LBL to make move on the 1" blocks.

I'm pulling a travel trailer down there, and the rear end is already about 1/2" lower than the front end. Not 100% sure, but I'll probably put 'em in if I have time. I'm working on a deal with a neighbor to buy my tires. If I do, there'll be 285's on it before LBL, and I need the clearance.

These are the newer 885X's. The X isn't supposed to sag much. We'll see I guess.

I misread what you posted. I thought the front was higher.

Got a slight case of the Brodozer look goin' on. That's actually sorta popular in this immediate area. All the Power Stroke/Duramax/Cummins guys with their towing mirrors and 12" diameter exhaust stacks LOVE the look of the back bumper dragging the ground. Me? Not so much.

FINISHED! (for now) I got the rear suspension set to where it needs to be. Rear rides about 1/2" higher that the front now. Looks good. It actually seems to ride BETTER than it did. May leave it this way, may do the Dakars later...Jury still out on that one. Either way, I'm happy with it now. So now I get to move on to the next part of the plan! Sliders next, when money tree starts to bloom!

Where did you get your C02 tank hoses, etc...? I have C02 OR Nitrogen tanks available. Just need a deal on regulator/hose/etc....I saw Wheelers page.

I'm gonna ask our Coke service guy if he can "assist" in any way. Never thought about that until I saw your Red Bull tank.....Now I'm antsy to put one of my own together!

If you can find someone to fill them let me know, no local hook up here, would make the drive and $$

We get 'em re-filled through our Coke supplier. They do exchanges on tanks we just pay a deposit on.....We don't get the same tanks back.....Just rotate empties for full ones, once a week. I use 'em to blow out drains, clean out condensate lines on HVAC units, etc....

We also get 'em filled at a place that sells welding gas and medical gas (oxygen). Also try any commercial kitchen equipment dealers you can find. And here's one you'll like.... BEER suppliers should have C02 (and tanks) for beer dispensers (bars) And with THAT, you might have to force yourself to go into a bar to see where they get C02 tanks filled.

I know how much you'd hate to have to walk into a place that sells that dreaded beer stuff.....But you can do it....

Here's another idea! Get your tank filled with propane! Then you're just a lit match away from getting tires to bead up!

I like the dual purpose idea of the propane. Inflation, setting beads, might singe my eyebrows off though lol. Think I'll try your earlier suggestion first and visit a local bar. Haven't really looked too hard yet but that seems a damn fine place to start!!

After all, what's the worst thing that can happen in a bar...?

Got a tank connector, regulator, and a gauge, courtesy of Coke. We have the c02 tanks, and I already have quick connects and air hoses. Gonna build my own. I've also got a "tool box" that holds a c02 tank for a portable "kegorator" we used to have here. It's about 12" square and 40" long. It'll make for a nice portable tire inflation setup!
