Home bodies here, except for meeting up in the woods with strangers from the internet...

 

My bar days are a long way behind me.....I used to help teach 2 step in a couple bars. First time I went in and saw 40 women and 3 guys in a class, I figured with those odds, I needed to learn how to myself. Started helping teach. Got all my beer bought for me, made a few bucks, and got all sorts of names and numbers! Then I got married.

That ended all the fun.....

I have seen a black taco parked in my school lot a few times. Nice looking rig with aftermarket headlights (believe they are spyders) and zombie responce decals. Just found out tonight that it is my professor! Not sure if he is on here or not. I know, sweet story, but I thought it was funny.

 

What are you studying?

BS in Computer science with a concentration in forensics and security. Doing the entire degree in two years.

 

I should have been able to deduce that from the Zombie Response Decals on your professor's truck. That's not a bad field to get in.

 

He is my forensics professor, easily the best I have ever had. I believe he said he used to be the police chief of some small place in alaska, up north where no one wants to go.

That was a direct quote from him. I was just stationed in Florida, in Kentucky now, but born in Spokane Washington, then Colorado for 12 years. We are actually hoping that the boss lady gets orders to Alaska next.

 

Haha just busting your chops. How has Richmond been treating you so far?

 

I love it so far. It's nice to be away from a large, active military base. Everyone is much nicer when there aren't jackass military members around to cause tons of trouble

Contemplating an afternoon quickie @ Dirty Turtle ORP. Nothing there to write home about, but it's close by. Decisions, decisions......

 

LBL shakedown run.

 

You nailed it! I haven't had the new suspension on anything except a well graded fire road so far. Got my C02 tire inflation tank done too, and want to give it a reason for living!

 

Didn't do Dirty Turtle.... DID do a local trail that's essentially access roads to several hay fields along a river bottom. Yep. It was a swamp. I went with 2 Jeep Cherokee's and a Tundra. One of the Jeeps got stuck a total of 4 times. The rest of us avoided the ridiculous stuff and stayed on solid ground. It wasn't exactly a grand challenge, but it WAS time in the woods. We played around for about 2 hours. Aired down to 18psi, blew 'em back up to 34 when done (using C02 tank!) That worked like a charm! Then ran into my buddy who owns the local car wash. He gave me the new "free wash code" and I got 'er cleaned up @ no cost!

Now....Fingers crossed that all the doctor visits go well this week, the monsoon season isn't too bad, and LBL happens. Camper is almost ready, except for packing food.

Moving to Somerset this summer. Is that "central" KY, or more "SE?"

 

I'd say more south central since it's west of 75. But definitely central. Within an hour or so to Lexington.
