Sounds good man. I’m only about an hour from LBL. I haven’t modded my truck much, but I do have a OR. Lol. Thanks!

Not an extreme adventure by any means, but a nice scenic ride. Good place to spot wild turkey BTW

They just issued flash flood warnings. 2 days ago we were supposed to have 75 and sunny. Louisville Fire Dept is doing a water rescue a block from work. I'm holding on to that as an excusein case I get called in.

Here's a query, what's the cost for a spectator to attend the derby? Thinking about next year trip...like hotel somewhere close by. Is it crazy busy?

Yeah super crazy and your best bet is a hotel close enough to walk to the derby. The infield tickets(poor mans area) last time I looked was about $45 a person. If you’ve never been it’s pretty worth it and a good time!

Hotels sold out months in advance. Decent and close...figure $250 a night if you can find them.. Nice motel maybe $500+. Meals...tickets....parking or cab drop another $250...at least. Per person. Many people stay hours away. Luxury accomodations figure 3 to 10 times that much.

Yeah it is, if you want to hotel it you might want to stat booking today! I'm lucky, my aunt lives with in walking distance so I just crash her spot! Last time I did that was years ago though and my aunt and grandma laughed as they watched my stumble right by her house 2 times looking for it. On the 3rd passing they finally grabbed me up and took me in. I was something terribly wasted..... To this day my aunt never lets me forget it!

Neighbors in the Churchill. Downs area get $40 per car (per day) to park in their yard. No more parking on Downs property without parking pass.

Saving the Cooper ST Maxx for wheeling trips, mileage documented and what side the wheels came off of so I can put them back on the same position!
