No need to conform to my schedule. Whatever works for the majority flies with me.

Got a little Ky mud on the truck yesterday! We went to Dirty Turtle ORP to see a little bit of mud bog action. (Grandson wanted to see 'em) While there, we explored the "trails" (if you care to call 'em trails) The ATV's have the place almost stripped of vegetation.....just wide open bare mud with a few trees scattered around. First time I saw that place, I was on a brand new 1989 Honda CR250 dirt bike, and there wasn't the first sign of a trail on the entire property. We spent a weekend cutting a path around the perimeter for an eventual Hare Scrambles course. Now the place is reamed out and a prime example of how NOT to manage an off road park.....Hundreds of kids, screaming around on ATV's, without helmets, beer bottles in hand while riding, and not a care in the world. The last time I was there, activities for the day were suspended when a woman was killed after rolling a rock bouncer, while doing donuts in the parking lot, NOT wearing a helmet. No lessons learned.

Can you say "Shooting the sport in the foot"? I can. Be careful folks, and remember, the sport/hobby's detractors are watching........

    Anyway....enough ranting.

We had fun, no damage, truck washed off before sun went down, and all is well.....

Its looking like the beginning weekends of June is what we're leaning toward! That way little warmer weather is here and works for more people then!

Excited to meet some of the KY members! I and a few other KY members mostly meet with the TN crew since they are much more active. Excited to get more people active in KY. Also haven't been able to get up close and personal with a 3rd Gen yet so hopefully some of you guys will show up.
I have a few rear diff breather relocation kits available for freebies, will be first come first serve, I'll have to see how may I have left.

I'm located at Fort Knox so I'm closer to Indiana than I am central Kentucky, but you are correct those Tennessee folks are very active. so far I've only taken my truck out camping a few times. I should have it setup completely around June so timing should work out great to test the rig. Looking forward to meeting you guys

I'm about 20 miles away from Knox. Just a short trip north on US31, pick up Ky St 44 east, and you're here! Hope to meet you soon!.

We're slammed all this month, and pretty dang busy all of May, so June works best for me too. I hate to wait that long, but it might just have to be....

Here is what we're leaning toward for now. Subject to change depending on the majority. A wheeling meet, how would a meet at the Gorge sound for everyone? About 45 min East of Lexington or is that too far for some of you guys? If the majority doesn't want to do a fourwheeling meet, then we can limited it to just a meet and greet, open garage event somewhere in Lexington to get to know everyone. Myself personally I would enjoy a wheeling event but it's whatever works for everyone.

Just set something up that works for the majority. Those that want to be there will make it work. Won't be able to fit everyone's schedule every time.

I vote wheeling over meet & greet in a garage. Let's get out and explore! Gorge is good with me. I've never been

I'm OK with whatever happens, provided it falls on a Saturday that's clear on my work schedule. VERY busy this time of the year....

I'd even be down for forest roads if they're anything like LBLs forest roads. Allows the stock guys and those who don't want too many scratches to still enjoy themselves.
