Maybe you're right. I've only ever seen atvs. I don't live far and it seems to be folks with campers and atvs from Ohio.

She knew I had been eyeing one since I bought my truck in April and she surprised me with it. Made my gift to her look small.

TWSS sent me a set of Baja Designs squadron sport fog lights, and Brother-in-law got me the metal filter housing and fumoto valve.

Hey kentuckians, your friendly :canada: interloper here again...question for anyone. Gordon Setters in KY. Used to be quite a hotbed for the breed, but looks like it's popularity is diminishing. Looking to adopt a Gordon Setter, couple few years old. Was wondering if any of you are familiar with the breed and/or would know of any up for adoption. Would love to make another road trip down there anyways.

Much tnx and Happy New Year!

My wife said to google “gordon setter rescue” and that would be your best bet on finding what you are looking for.

Yup, been way down that road already. Tripped across one at Kentucky Lab Rescue but that deal seems pretty sketchy. I picked one up at a breeder near Ft. Knox back in 2000, but back then Gordons were very prevalent in KY and MI. The interest in the breed seems to have waned quite a bit that even rescue dogs are very rare. On top of that, this whole rescue thing seems to have become an industry that would not always appear in the best interest of the animal, just my observation.

Appreciate the feedback...just thought I'd investigate the back channels here at TW, it's such a broad spectrum of knowledge and info.

    Cheers

They are the wide cornering lens. You just sign up during the time frame. The minimum is $20 with no max. It's cool to see what everyone gets.

No really good places to wheel in Corbin. There are some back fire roads down Cold Hill area that's public but other than that mostly privately owned land.

Bill, that's twice now that you have not just pulled through for me, but in a completely major way. I seriously need to hunt you down and proffer you a bottle of your favourite poison. I am not at my main residence currently which has all the paperwork, however when you mentioned Draco Kennels that rang a huge bell. It was Draco that we visited 18 yrs ago to get our second gordo. Did some research today and that is indeed a very hard lead, they are still breeding!

    Thank you yet again :hattip:

Well, looks like I've had my first real issue with the truck. Front drivers side bearing is shot... Hums on the highway and goes away with a quarter turn to the right on the steering wheel.

Looking at this, a second time, and not just "liking" the pic at random because beefy truck parts.....

Why does the CV axle shaft tube extend so far into the hub and well beyond the wheel studs?

Unless they are doing something unusual... thats where the plunge travel of the CV will be. In our OE shafts, the plunge is on the inboard end on the triple axis ball-bearing end.
