Yesterday I took my truck in for service and was able to drive the new Ranger. I drove a lariat with the FX4 package. I was pleasantly surprised by the turbo 4. Had lots of power and the transmission was actually fairly smooth. The interior was nice but it seemed smaller than my old mans 3rd gen. But after driving a full size a year, most midsize trucks feel small to me. The price is what is crazy. The lariat I drove was 45k. I paid way less than that for my F150. There was an XLT, and I think thats what the majority sold will be, but it was still 41k. Im sure they will sell but not for me.

Well, when truly new domestic full size trucks with mid-grade packages, 4x4, and 4 doors with a useless sized bed sell all day for $50k+, why wouldn't a mid size truck with all the bells n whistles sell for $45k?

For reference; work only buys GMC trucks from one dealer. A 4 door 4x4 HD with 6' or 8' bed costs us $65k or more depending on package.

The sticker on my truck was just a shade over 52k. It was a fully optioned XLT. The only options it did not have was the blind spot monitor, FX4 package and sunroof. Before my trade, my truck was marked down to 40k and some change. For the price difference based on sticker alone, Ill take more room, a better ride, more power and the same MPG.

Exit 25 off Bluegrass Parkway. I stop there a lot during spring shearing. If they have any they'll be outside right beside store.

Just saw a 2014 DCLB Mag Grey Off Road in Somerset at a used car lot. 64,000 miles, asking $24,995, and it DOESN'T seem to have a factory trailer hitch on it! Is that a bit high, or what?
    Just curious...

That sounds like a good deal to be honest. I’d double check if it’s 4x4 and also if it’s actually an off-road (has locker and a-trac). If I recall correctly they didn’t make a DCLB off road package in 2014.

Well then, someone put the bedside stickers on this one. I was just curious about that price. not interested in buying it, but I thought it odd that it didn't have the factory hitch.
