I had a bunch of friends that took their RZRs last year and had a blast.

If the weathers nice and I'm not working I'll be dropping the doors off the truck and heading up.

Believe we are trying to get a few people to go together from here. I'd be down for meeting up. May even have the Rzr on the back of the Taco, I just don't want to leave it sitting when I go to look around. Had a quad stolen at Brimstone a few years back so now I'm paranoid about leaving things even out for a bit.

I have a safe place to unload the RZR that's about 5 minutes away from the Fairgrounds if you're interested. Only room for one....but a safe place. (Right next door to a police station! )

I'm totally down for the weekend. Has anyone ever camp at the show or know of a non hook up camp ground near by (20min or so)?

There's a pretty nice KOA in Shepardsville off HWY 44.

Edit: looks like there's one right across the river in Indiana too. I haven't stayed there but it doesn't look to nice really. Right next to a train track.

The Clarksville KOA is in the middle of a crime zone.....And within a stone's throw of I 65. Make it a last resort....The train track is no longer in use since Colgate Palmolive left Clarksville/Jeffersonville.

The one in Shepardsville is about 10 minutes from my house. It's clean, close to a number of restaurants, about 5 minutes off of I 65, and a LOT safer than the one in Clarksville (In)

Agree on the Clarksville KOA. We take our travel trailer there to dump the tanks after hunting season and it's never clean. And there's always some shady characters hanging around. Probably the only upside is the fact that Tom Stennet is right next to it.

Finally, after many months. Finally found the time to get the brush guard I bought from @beertimecontinuum put on. And I can say that I really like the look of it. Trucks finially beginning to look like how I want it to look like, next stop: light bar and exhaust.
    image.jpg
And yes, it rained while I was putting it on.

Any updates on the June 11/18th run to RRG?

Another LBL/ Turkey Bay run is taking place on Memorial Day Weekend for those that don't follow the TN Thread. If you want to meet people and wheel that's the most active group in the area.

Offroad Expo is just a month away too.

Nice man. Where are you going to mount that at?

On my bullbar, there's already 2 holes on it, but they're just a hair to far apart to mount it. Gonna have to 1/4 the distance and drill a couple new holes.

Every morning on my way to work, I drive past where the outdoor portion of the expo is held. They're starting to bring in some of the equipment that'll be used to groom the "track".

By this time next week, I'm in the hospital and out of commission for a while. I should be able to walk around the Expo by the time it gets here.

Once I'm able, I'm going to attempt to get a group together and head up to Badlands ORP in Central Indiana. Not committing to a date just yet, but look for middle/end of June.

June 18th is going to be the Red River Gorge meet. For those who are wanting to camp that night, we can talk about finding a camping spot somewhere at the Gorge. I've never been there but am more than down to roam around. As of now, there are there are about 6-8 for now that are interested I believe. The more, the better! We can meet in Lexington for those who have to come through this way, if that sounds good for everyone, early Saturday morning! Lets hear some feedback!

Well....I'm no help. I know my way around RRG real well, but I'm not able to go this weekend, and not sure yet about the 18th. Surgery is next week, so I'm busy this weekend getting all my ducks in a row before being laid up for the next month. wish I was going....

This crap has been going on since late October of last year. I'm hoping this surgery is the final piece in the puzzle and I can have my life back.

I know that....But I have a 4 week recovery window after the surgery. Can't do ANYTHING. And that's if all goes according to plan. May or may NOT be able to bounce around in a truck seat by the 18th (of June)

Surgery is on the 18th of MAY.....
