So my fellow Kentuckians. Help me diagnose an issue. I have a 2018 Ford F-150, leave the Ford jokes at the door, and here in the last few weeks my a/c is sucking. The coldest I can get the temp out of the vents is 66-67. Also, and it’s weird, I feel like the air blows colder with the circulation off. Before, you could hang meat in the cab because the air would blow so cold. Any ideas??

Are you recirculating air, or pulling outside air. (Check function of "door"(damper) to see if It's functioning. Ambient temps in the 90° range.....good A/C drops air temps around 25°....ie....about where you're at.....

Those thoughts crossed my mind too. Especially the temp change part. Wasn't sure if vehicle AC was that similar to residential/commercial units.

I’ll check to see what I can see. I’ve noticed that when switching circulation on and off, I don’t notice any change in fan speed. Maybe something is off there.

Switch from outside air to recirculating....you SHOULD be able to hear a noticeable change in sound. Those doors can malfunction, controls can fail, etc.... very common problem across all brands....

So, after some YouTubing and web browsing, I found a recommendation to check the A/C clutch fuse. Common issue with the F150 and the EcoBoost engine. Pulled it, wasn’t blown but decided to go on and put a new one in. Big difference. I could tell a difference between circulating air and outside air. Plus, the temperature was 6 or 7 degrees cooler. Still going to take to the dealer Tuesday to double check, that’s what a warranty is for, but may have solved the issue. :notsure:

Does anyone know of a good shop that will perform a custom alignment in or around Madison county? The ones I’ve been to around here look at me like I’m speaking Japanese when I ask to have the alignment custom out of OE specs. I’m lookin for

    0 camber
2.5 caster or as close as possible

Hey folks. New member here. Live in Mt Sterling, but recently drove to WV to pickup my new truck. I want to get an A.R.E Z series installed and am considering Line-X in Nicholasville. Anyone have experience with them? They quoted me $2700 installed on a 2020 Tacoma Trd Pro.
