Brian Fleck (Fleckasourus on here) works there, in security I think.

The best meeting point close by is going to be at Puckett's Grocery in Leiper's Fork. The other option would be somewhere in Brentwood or Franklin, as they are both closer to the interstate. Natchez Trace is right by all this too which is a nice scenic highway.

How far to Greenville Tenn.? We raced a winter series Hare Scrambles in Natchez Trace in 1986. We stayed in a town named Greenville the night before. I was riding an XR600 Honda. The trails were mostly wide open fire roads. It was like a freekin' super speedway race on street bikes. That bike would run 90mph (Very fast for a dirt bike) I had it tapped out balls to the wall most of the day.

Puckett's Grocery sounds like a good spot to meet!

I may have the wrong name for the town..... I have a log book I carried all the years I worked for Honda. It'll have all my travel records in it. I'll dig it out later and look it up. I do recall Natchez Trace State Park for certain.

Last call! We have a group meeting @ Badlands (in Attica Indiana) around 9AM tomorrow (Sunday, 14th) There is a small group meeting behind the Sellersburg Indiana McDonalds (right off I65) @ 6AM to head north. If anyone interested, please join us. We have "boots on the ground" already. It is dry as can be there. The heavy rain and flooding in south and central Indiana is not reaching that far north.

I'll try to post a few more tomorrow. We just walked in the house. 4 hours each way......Badlands is OK, but not so much I'll be going back soon. And talk about DUSTY. We drove out of rain on the way up, not 30 miles away. Attica hasn't seen a drop in 3 weeks. So dusty in places you couldn't hardly see. I can clean up my truck with a leaf blower.

Six FJ Cruisers, a 4Runner, four Tacoma's, a Tundra, and F150, a Range Rover, two XJ's, a YJ and an Xterra, 18 altogether. Six broke off and disappeared. The other 12 pretty much stuck together until the end of the day. 2016 F150 got the body damage award....Smashed rocker and bent door on passenger side. No more carnage. Lots of sand and pea gravel. Lots of rocks. "Quarry" was cool, Dunes were OK. The best wheeling was in the last 1/2-hour. If it was an hour away I'd go back again. Not worth a 4 hour drive IMHO. Glad I can say I went there once anyway....

Lots of ATV's, SxS's, and bikes. One good designated "truck only" trail. The rest, you dodge ATV's.....

My CO2 air system worked to perfection. Ran 18psi all day, aired up in 15 minutes when done. Back to 34 psi and then home!

    Lockers are cool!

The yellow FJ was bad ass!

The last 1/2 hour, I went with the yellow FJ, another FJ, the KJ Jeep, and my buddy in his XJ and ran a creek bed that was some of the best trails I've ever been on.....just not enough of it.

Yeti 50 qt FTMFW! First time we used it. 20lbs of ice survived 36 hours, some of it with the cooler sitting out in yesterdays sun. Maybe a quart of water from melted ice when we got home. We had a couple bottles of water to freeze under the ice.

No place for full size trucks..... It was a squeeze getting the Tacoma through some of it.

Ya, you might have had a bit more fun tagging along with the guys from Illinois. The purpose of hanging around in the rocks and dunes all day for us fullsize guys was to get a better feel on rocks & sand for our upcoming Moab trip. There's plenty of woods to beat around in at the Badlands, maybe another group event will happen in the future that you guys can tag along on. It was good meeting you and your friends!

I'd be more comfortable there if/when I get sliders on the truck! I've got a fear of bashing rocker panels on rock ledges... We've got runs planned to Black Mountain in October and Dirt Devil in November. Still trying to put together a September trip....Thinking about Interlake.

Good to meet all you guys!

Will do for sure. Just got back from a family trip to Moab 2 weeks ago. Ready to get back wheeling somewhere.
