I'm back from the dead! Been really busy the past few months. I would definitely be interested in a interlake run in September. Been there in a stock jk once, so I reckon a stock Tacoma would be the same way.

I'm moving to Lexington by this fall. I'm a single cab guy though so I hope that's not a problem.

Watch this thread for details of the Interlake run. I'm just now starting to put it together. Got to find out when they run the Black Coal National Enduro though.....It's ran through Interlake and they close it down for the weekend.

Starting preliminary planning on a September trip to Interlake (in Indiana, near Evansville) Looking at 10th/17th/24th (Saturdays) Local camping as well as great camping in Hoosier National Forest nearby. Input appreciated. Will have to be a Saturday for me to make it. Will be picking exact date by this time next week. (23rd)

I'm also a single cab guy. There's quite a few in Lexington and the surrounding counties. I mostly drive it so I always have an excuse not to pick up hitchikers.

I love my single cab. I used to live in eastern Kentucky and in the more mountainous terrain it was unstoppable. Got me to work and back safely no matter what conditions were like.

Are there any wheelin trips through late fall and maybe winter you guys normally participate in?

Just started getting plans made for a trip to Interlake (in Southern Indiana) for September 10/17/24....Looks like the 24th is the popular date. More details to follow.

Working on a 3 day trip to Black Mountain (Harlan Ky) on the 21/22/23 of October.

Also, a trip to Tennessee Dirt Devil on November 12th. This will be a Veterans Day weekend trip that should include a number of disabled vets.

Interlake trip date is now set. (by default) No one was interested in the 10th and my work schedule says no way on the 24th....So....September 17th it is. I will post details on meeting spot/time on this forum as soon as that is worked out with others. Input appreciated.

There is a big gravel lot where everyone parks now. Go through the main entrance and it's a little bit down the road and on the left.

Idk if anyone would be interested in this but my mother is on the committee for "pinkapalooza" a Breast Cancer awareness group here in southern Indiana. Saturday, October 8th there is going to be a walk at hayeswood nature reserve in Coyrdon, IN (~1 hr from Louisville on I-64) there will be food, door prizes, a 2.5k and for thoes interested I believe a 5k. We could form a team and walk for someone who has been affected by breast cancer. I won't be walking because I get to direct traffic and ride around on a gator all day. All proceedes go to breast cancer research. If anyone is interest let me know and I'll get some more detailed information when it comes out.
