Louisville has great highway access to Red River Gorge trails, and Interlake (in Indiana) is just across the river, near Evansville. I hear there's a good privately owned trail near Brandenburg. A lot of the locals there run it on weekends. I'm trying to get info on it. There's also a big mud hole of a trail between Mt Washington and Taylorsville, off Hwy 44E. Most of the kids in Mt Washington that play in the mud go there. I've never been, but by the looks of things, it must be a quagmire!

All I know is it's there, somewhere along Hwy 44, probably closer to Mt Washington than Taylorsville, but that's a guess....There's a bunch that hangs out at McDonalds or Taco Bell parking lots in Mt Washington on weekends that group up and go on Friday or Saturday nights. Next time I see 'em there, I'll ask 'em where it's at.

Anyone here up for a quick one day ride next Saturday? Looking at Daniel Boone Scenic Byway. Nothing too intense....Just a day in the woods.

My wife informed me that if she wasn't included in the plans I wasn't going.....Guess that settles that! She really liked the place when we went last year. I'm hoping it times out about the same.....We went 3rd weekend of October and the colors were at their peak. Some incredible views there. We're reserving a cabin @ Putney trail head (where we'll start and finish the ride) $79 a night gets us a bed, kitchen, heat/air conditioner, TV, and a roof over our heads. Beats sleeping in the bed of the truck!

I would but I think her only friend is me at the moment, I stole her from California and brought her to the midwest.

That's not a bad idea, she's been asking to stay at a cabin since January, and at peak colors she would love it.

If you'd like, I'll start posting meets in code so you don't have to read them word for word?

Wife or girlfriend, but not BOTH!

We're calling to confirm reservations later today. I'll ask if they have any more cabins left. If so, I'll let you know as soon as I can.

After we get this baby out of my wifey I'll be able to get out more. I'm missing out on a lot of adventure and it wearing me down... I'm drinking a Mic Ultra right now for F sake.

I'll try to make it but probably not gonna happen. Waiting on wheel bearings to show up. Have to get those in then start tearing apart the rear wheel seals to stop the oil slinger that is my rear axle.

21-23 is the fall crawl this year at Black mountain. Believe we're taking the Rzr's.

Take that back, it's the 15-17so you all are good. More than likely I'll be going the 15th-17th with the Rzr's. Doubt I'll make it down again the weekend after. Can't wait to see some good pics
