I got my schedule and have to cover 3rd shift all that weekend so unfortunately that pushes me out. I was hoping to make it. Thank God we were born to work and die, gotta love it!

Sometimes Saturday is my only day off. Work every Sunday night. May have a Slade trip coming up in a few weeks. If anyone wants to go you should join the CKYO group on Facebook. Date for the trip is not final, may only be two or three of us going as of now so if you didn't join up they may still let you go lol

We're leaving home just before 6AM. Already have our "advance raiding party" on site! We should be hitting Lexington around 7:30AM. Pick an exit and we'll jump off and meet up. I'll PM you my cell # just in case.

Wheelin' @ Black Mountain Off Road Adventure Area! Brian posted the pictures in the post above and I have a few more! This place is incredible! Brian and Evan did a superb job with their first serious off road adventure. No damage that I'm aware of. Many miles of trails. (and we didn't even make a dent in the trails this place has to offer!) Of course, my wife packs the "Buffet Bluegrass"....And it was her first off road adventure too! She's already talking about where we're going NEXT time, and what all we need to add to the truck. (Heee haaaaaaa!)

We managed to get into places where the ATV people were astounded....They didn't think you could get a full bodied pick up truck through some of the tight trails we were on. (To tell the truth, I was a little surprized myself!)

We had one group of pretty hard core looking Jeep people make a few snide comments about our "pretty clean trucks" when we got there. And a slack jawed look out of the same bunch when they ran into us again way back in the back of the park.

    Fall colors in full splendor.

So, Ethompson02, Fleckasaurus, and Bluegrass Taco, along with Micah and Sandy had one of the best possible days on the trails!

    Enjoy the pictures!

Looking at possible run on November 14th or 21st. No idea where just yet....Maybe Horseshoe Bend OR just a quickie at Dirty Turtle ORP. Ideas welcome. Let's get something started here in the Commonwealth of Kentucky! No sense in letting all the other states have all the fun!

Lol, I've been waiting for this thread to wake up a while. Looks like you guys had fun this weekend, sorry I missed it. I'm definitely in for at least one more ride before winter, I think my son's B-day party is going to be the weekend of the 14th. Not sure yet. Still tying to hit Slade with the FB Jeepers too. I'm definitely doing the 4th annual LBL trip. Should be 1st weekend in April I think, it'll be posted closer to time.

Well....Let me put it this way....I'm gonna keep shaking the tree until all the nuts fall out of it!

It's going to be a big help with my wife liking 4-wheelin' as much as she now does. We had a TON of fun Saturday. I'm going to try to keep a fair amount of low keyed events for now...trying not to scare off the entry level guys or the stock truck guys.

I've been away from the "sport" for a few years. In recent months I've began to understand it's a big part of who I am. The people who 4-wheeling attracts are my kind of people. Time to give back to a hobby that gave me a lot along the way. So the plan is to get a Kentucky group of let's say 20 or more together so we can always depend on 5 or 6 of us to be ready to go somewhere AT LEAST once a month. Maybe not everyone every time....but a core group of like minded folks that become good friends. I don't think this will be as difficult as it may seem.

Hell yeah, I'm down for some less challenging stuff too. Might be nice not to break things and might even get to bring my son if trail conditions are real nice.

I'm usually in if given notice. Always dependent upon my school schedule though. I recommend everyone make the LBL trip this spring if you haven't been out with the TN/SW KY guys.
