I would stir the post first and ask about what brand foil they used for their hats. Then tell them I was abducted by aliens or something lol

One of 'em was blaming the tolls all on the Governor of Indiana (Mike Pence) Other was blaming it all on Bevin. Third one was hanging it all on Obama (I agreed with him!) Just kept feeding the fire! It's not that often I get to be in an argument where I know I'm the smartest one there! Gotta take it and run with it!

Was about to have 3 old Kenwood walkies until I couldn't get them working. Maintenance mgr found them in a corner somewhere. They wouldn't do more than beep and static, weak batteries too.
Wouldn't mind something to use for comms while trailing though. Do have a set of cheap Midland walkies at home though.

Several brands offer hand held CB's that work well at short range. They're around $60 to $70. I put a CB in my truck just for trail use. Once I get it working well, it'll most likely not get used unless we're in the woods!

Now I'm intrigued! Post some link in my build thread if you have anything particular in mind. This is an area I have no opinion in, unless it's merely fixing a broken part on one

We use 14" cable ties to hang windscreens on our tennis courts. I buy about 6000 a year. Usually 1000 of them end up in my truck. You can always cut off a tie that's too long....

Sprint wanted only white used in their offices. Of course, that didn't mean squat when it came to lacing battery power cables. Waxed 12 or 9 strand nylon string! Good stuff!
